The starting idea in DV is almost like Prince of Egypt animated movie, which is based on true story of Prophet Musa (called by Muslims,PBUH) alias Moses(as believed by Jews ) who was an awaited Messiah to bring down the cruel rule of Phero (the evil king of Israel/Egypt who claimed to be God). Phero heard his priests that some newborn will overthrow him, so he ordered to kill all newborn children. Moses mother in order to save him, drowned him in a basket in river Nile.
Ironically, the basket reaches to Pheros wife and who fell in love with the child inside it and decided to raise him as her son. She already has a son Ramses and Moses grew up as his brother in the Palace of Phero as a Prince...

😆 I found the starting really creative. One side with happiness..and other side with all those poor people working without any food or water 😔

That's true. When I was watching, I was also thinking that the story of Moses was somewhat copied. It'll be interesting to see this. 😳

somewhat copied nahin.. today's episode was fully copied.. it was exactly the story of the prince of egypt.. now wonder it seemed gripping.. obviously the death of veer's father (that scene reminded me of the movie apocalypto now as thats exactly how the tribes killed the other tribes for entertainment) was different... and harsh's mugdha's role etc are all extras... hmm kahaan kahaan se mix and match kiya hai 😆
names of the heroes from manmohan desai then prince of egypt... and the rest.. well its upto them now... 😆

ya it does sound like the story of Moses. but then moses was a saint and not a warrior like veer. so there the difference will lie.
