Hi guys,
Firstly, I am NOT justifying Omkaara. Please realise these are characters and story- its not real so we can chill a little.
Next, if you google most of the sons of abusive fathers- no matter how close they are to their mothers,fail to become good husbands- for the simple reason that they do not know emotional bonds. And here, we had Omkara seeing Jhanvi thakurain getting burnt just as his mother did- perhaps, he would have imagined a smirking Gauri just as Svetlana.
But, he had perks of having his brothers because of whom he knew what people's feelings were and kept him reasonable. I am actually glad that he has been shown like that: whether it was his marriage (note: no one forced him, he just wanted to save a life) or it was his and chulbul's friendship or it was saving gauri from the fridge.
It still DOESN"t justify him.That I also wanted an educated fl is true, but more than that I want a strong woman- who can show Omkara that its not always black and white- to make him trust her: and to gain someone's trust (who has a low trust level on the world in general) takes more strength.
Only thing I would wish to see is Gauri loving him but refusing to be his wife- because he has crossed his limits in destrying her self respect
I read a very nice article related to bahubali: for a husband to be like amarendra bahubali; the wives need to be like Devasena, who stands up for herself!
