Gauri is Stone Kumari Sharma... Stone Singh Oberoi ki SIL, jaise Rudy kehta hai. But she's so strong because she's so hurt on the inside and she needed to build that wall to protect herself and let herself heal.

Ab ye Zulfi Singh Oberoi aa gaye hain yahaan par bhi apna rondupana lekar. You've realized you made a mistake... that doesn't merit you forgiveness mera baccha... you have to work at it.

Realize karne se saare mistakes agar sudhar gaye to saza kyun dete hain login ko? Repent for your words dude... bohot kuch karna baaki hai... Gauri needs someone who'll cherish her... not someone who'll take her for granted. She's not gonna come running back into your arms because her spoiled brat of an ex realized he was wrong about her.

if it was someone other than gauri she would have slapped him...her questions are right...he came to her at that night when he was drunk..he was attracted to her but when she protest he said poisonous things which any girl can never forget...and one day the same person appears in front of you and say forgive me...will you forgive him...never...om deserved this and I really don't want gauri to forgive him so easily...he should earn it

<Chapter 8>

Omkaara never felt this low before in his life. What she said was right except one thing.. She thought he came near her to satisfy his momentary lust. It was not the case.. His dormant feelings for her were not at guard in his drunken state, which made him to act like this.. But she wouldn't believe, if he said he had feelings for her.. Because he was spurring hatred on her like anything. His own values, principles all went to dust at her one single question.

His tone went down drastically.. "Uss rat mere mann mein jo bhi tha.. agar main abhi clarify karoon, to bhi tum yakeen nahi karogi.. Par jo bhi hai.. main tumhe isthamaal nahi kar raha tha.. main tumhaari alava kisi aur ke saath aisa behave nahi kar saktha hoon.. choone to door ki baat.. main kisi aur ladki ki paas bhi nahi rehna chahtha hoon..tum ne shaayad notice nahi kiya kyunki main bahut nafrat bhari batein kar raha tha.. Par sach ye hai ki... I wanted to kiss you because main tab bhi tumhe chahtha tha.. aur ab bhi chahtha hoon" Omkaara didn't want to shy away from telling the truth.

"Jab se maa guzar gayi thi mujhe aadat pad gayi akele jeene. aisejeene se kisi ki sawal ko jawab nahi dena padtha hai.. Please mujhe akela chod dijiye naa. Omkaaraji. Aap apni marzi se zindagi jee lijiye.."

Omkaara was getting more and more frustrated and sad.. She has given up on him completely..

"Kaise zindagi bhar akele reh sakthi ho tum.. Gauri?"

"Reh sakthi hoon.. Yahi baat Rishabh ji se bhi kaha aur aap se bhi keh rahi hoon"

Omkaara was shocked.. "Rishabh.. wo Factory owner's son?"

"Haan.. Wahi.."

He became irritated all of sudden.. is he trying on Omkaara singh oberoi's wife?

"Kya kaha usne.. ?" His tone showed abrupt irritation and controlled anger

Gauri just then realized that she had spilled the beans in a flow.

"Nahi.. wo humse shaadi karna chahthe the.. Maine saaf saaf mana kiya.." She just looked at him with the corner of eyes. She really didn't wanted to say him this, but somehow it got out of her mouth..

"Phir.. abhi jao mere saath.. Main tumhe yahan akele nahi chodne waala.. Jo bhi jagde hai.. tum mere saath ghar aake kar lo.. kuch bhi saza de do.. Par ghar aane ke baad.. mujhe manzoor hai.. par iss jagah mein tumhe akela nahi chodne waala hoon.." His tone changed from pleading to angered possessive.

"Main kahin nahi jaane waali hoon.. Omkaara ji..meri raksha main khud karthi aayi hoon.. aur aage bhi karoongi.. aap fikar mat kijiye.." She ended up in sarcastic tone.

"Agar usko tumpe interest hain.. to tumhaari yahan rehna safe nahi hai.. Main abhi tumhe wapas le jaaonga.. aur usko pata chal jayega.. ki tum mere biwi ho.."

"Meri aapki patni thi.. ab nahi. Shaayad aap bhool rahe ho ki humhaari contract khatam ho chuki hain"

"Matlab kya hai? Hamaari beech kuch rishtha nahi? Wo contract ki shaadi ke pehle hi.. humhaari shaadi poore Bareilly ke saamne hua tha.. wo sab bhool gayi ho..? Pyaar karne ke liye hum akela hi kaafi hai.. tum hi ne kaha tha.. yaad hai..? Kahan gayi wo sab baatein..?" Omkaara was loosing control over his emotions..

"Jal gayi.. aap ki nafrat se.." Gauri was also fierce.

"Sirf nafrat yaad hain na tumhe.. Aur kuch yaad nahi..? Ya phir yaad karna nahi chahthi ho? Maine bahut badi galti ki.. main accept kartha hoon.. Agar aisi baat kehkar saza dena chahthi ho.. to apni hi haat se jala do.. mujhe.. pal pal tumhaari khayaal on se jalne se behtar yahi hai.." Omkaara turned away in immense anger.

Gauri was looking shocked. How can he tell such a cruel words..

"Aap aise baatein kyun kar rahein.. itna zid kyun kar rahein.. Maine kaha na.. main apni aap ko sambhalungi.."

"aur mere kya hoga..?"

"Aap ke paas itna shaandar ghar hain, parivaar log hain, sab kuch hai.. aapko shaadi karne ke liye kitne ladkiyan tayyar rahegi.. aap bas unme ek achi se ladki chun lijiye.. aur shaadi kar lijiyena.."

Omkaara lost it.. He pulled her towards him and held her in his arms..

"Mere aankhen mein aankhen daalkar kaho.. ki sach mein tum chahthi ho ki main kisi aur ladki se shaadi karloon.. Batao mujhe"

Gauri couldn't see his face. She was looking elsewhere. It's been so long since she was in his arms.. She was trying to control herself. She didn't want to stake her self respect one more time, by going with him.

Omkaara hugged her fiercely.. "Gauri. Aakhri baar keh raha hoon.. Tumhaare alava kisi aur ki khayal bhi mere mann mein nayi ayegi.. Tum jaante ho.. ki main one woman man hoon.. aur meri patni tum ho.. sirf tum.. tu mane ya naa mane.. main sirf tumhaara hoon.."

Gauri got reminded of the day of her marriage. She said the same words when he pushed her on the road and walked off.

"Hum aap ki ho na ho.. aap humhaare hain aur sada rahenge.."

Life has taken a 360 degree turn, afterall.

Gauri pulled off slowly..

"Humhe toda waqt dijiye.. abhi hum tayyar nahi hai.." Her voice moistened.. Omkaara softened down.

"Please Gauri.. main tumhe poore waqt deta hoon.. socho.. par Ghar pe aakar karo.. jo bhi hai.. main tumhe disturb nahi karoonga.. jo bhi saza deni hai.. do mujhe.. par apne aap se alag mat karo.. main seh nahi saktha hoon, Gauri.. Poore 9 mahine.. tumhe doondh doondh ke pagal ho gaya hoon.. mere zindagi ki sabse bhari hain yeh 9 mahina."

Omkaara's phone rang.. It was Shivaay.. Omkaara's voice was still not clear. Shivaay found out with his one hello.

"Om, tu kaha hai.. kya hua.. kuch pareshaani hai?"

Omkaara's eyes moistened thinking about his brother. He wanted to tell it out all once. But refrained from telling. He just slipped into her room for talking to Shivaay.

"Haan, shivaay bol"

"Hua kya hai.. ur voice is not right"

"I met Gauri here.."

One sentence is enough.. he sensed the entire situation.

"Gauri.. Really..Wow..! Om.. der mat karo..chopper mein gauri ko lekar yahan aajao.. Baaki sab yahan discuss karlenge.."

"Wo mana kar rahi hai.. Main pichle 2 ghante se baat kar raha hoon.. She is not ready to come back.."

"Oh.. kya main baat karoon? Phone do usse.."

"Nahi Shivaay.. main baat kar raha hoon.. I will call you tonight."

"Are you sure..?"

"Yeah.. I will be fine.. main baad mein call karta hoon"

It was already 8 in the night. Shyaamlal came and knocked the door once again..

"Gauri bitiya.. Kuch chahiye tumhe." He was ensuring she was safe since the stranger was still talking to her.

Omkaara saw him & Gauri. Gauri was in a fix. What would she tell him..?

"Haan bas jaane waale hain Shyaam bhaiyya.. Main teek hoon.."

Gauri looked at him with hesitation. He understood that he has to leave. She is still not comfortable.

"Gauri.. I am leaving for now. Par kal subah aaonga.. we will discuss this further. Par ek baat hai..Kitna kuch time na lag jaaye.. par tumhe chodkar main yahan se nahi jaane waala hoon.." Omkaara's voice was firm.

Gauri saw the time. It was past 8. "8 se jyaada ho gaye.. aap ke liye Khaana laon?" Gauri spilled out words instinctively

Omkaara's face brightened up a from a dull gloom..

"Khaana nahi. Mujhe glucose biscuit waala chai chahiye.. milega kya?"

"Chaai.. iss waqt?"

"Haan chaai.. wo bhi glucose biscuit waala.." Omkaara smiled with all his teeth.

Gauri was wondering how is able to laugh, threaten, plead all in an instant.. She went inside and came with a glass of tea.

"Bas bahar hi kuch badlav hai.. ander hi ander.. wo swad abhi bhi hai.." He spoke mysteriously. He drank the tea fully and left the place..

"Kal subah aaonga.."
