We always look forward to Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor's Cannes Film Festival appearances. This time as well, the star made heads turn with her glam Cannes Film Festival 2017 red carpet appearance. She looked exquisite in a rose gold outfit. Though the actress was modest enough to say that she had not prepared much this time for her big appearance, the L'Oreal Paris brand ambassador made quite a stunning entry at the red carpet.


Be it her custom made Elie Saab outfit, her rose gold L'Oreal makeup, or her hairdo, Sonam Kapoor looked more than resplendent at the French Riviera. STEP 1: Before you start applying the makeup, you need to make sure that you cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin. Clean your face with a mild cleanser, followed by applying alcohol free toner and then use a nourishing moisturizer to keep your skin soft and supple. Moisturizing your skin will ensure that the makeup glides on the surface of your skin easily.


STEP 2: Use a primer all over your face and neck to make your makeup long lasting. Then choose a foundation that matches with your skin tone, apply it evenly all over your face and then blend it using a brush or a beauty blender. Hide any blemishes or dark circles with a concealer.

STEP 3: To draw attention to the high points on your face use a little bit of highlighter, so when the light hits your face, your features will look more prominent. Sonam Kapoor has used the L Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Liquid Highlighter Rose to get the look. Apply the highlighter on the center of the forehead, along the bridge of your nose, on the cheek bones, cupid's bow and chin. Post applying the highlighter, use the L'Oreal Paris Lumi Powder Rose.


STEP 4: Sonam has thick brows, work on your eyebrows using a brow pencil to fill in any gaps and to define the arch. Also define your eyes using kohl pencil.

STEP 5: Use rose gold eye shadow. Sonam has used the L'Oreal Paris La Palette Gold eye shadow for this look.


STEP 6: If you want to add more drama to the look, use false lashes and then add a dash of mascara to add more volume and to blend the falsies with your real lashes.

STEP 7: Finish the look by using a floral shade of lip color. To get the perfect pout, opt for a rose gold shade just like Sonam did. The diva opted for the L'Oreal Paris Tint Caresse Rose Blossom and Peach Blossom for this look. L'Oreal's lip gradation cushions infused with tints will give you an ombre finish.
