Annika again puts herself in between him and a bullet. Frustrated by that situation again, he lets out his anger. They finally have the argument they had started this trip with.
HE rages that she keeps putting herself in danger because of him. He can't bear it that she would give him heart attacks like that, because he can't bear to see her hurt. And she cannot even think of the possibility of him being hurt. She holds him close, hands on his head so protectively.
"Everytime something threatens you, I will come in between... That is how I am.."
Annika the shield of the Wall, in all her glory.
Shivaay goes on to beautifully express all of his inner tumult.
"I am just like you. I have to know. I cannot NOT have all the information. I am trying, I can't do any more than try my best to change..."
She worries if what he finds will shake their relationship. He promises her that it won't. Because it was him and her, in this relationship, and nothing else. And he makes it their responsibility to make sure nothing breaks them apart, and that he would try his very best to make his NKK idealism go away.
I don't understand, Shivaay. If you're telling her you want to be with her no matter what, and that NKK isn't more important than her, isn't that point dealt with already??
You have accepted her for who she is, and she has accepted you for who you are.
There's nothing left, firmly hand in hand you deal with things together.
Fine, you need to know.
Fine, just make sure this is not about having kids together.
Then it's not fair.
If you have accepted her, do it wholeheartedly. Or let her go.
She deserves the whole deal, not a conditional one.
You can't say lifelong journey of just waiting to be accepted, if it means "to be the mother of your children"
Marriage is a long journey. No one is expected to be perfect and sorted perfectly when it starts. You grow together, walk together, grow old together. Lifelong process.
It felt like he was saying his marriage vows to her today. He wants his lambhi journey to be with her. His voice was breaking as he promised himself to her.

You could see how happy he was when they walked in the house. A smile in his voice, he told her not to tell anyone about his sitting in that contraption of hers..😆 (You better tell Rudra , Annika. THAT will be a good story to share...😆)
But waiting for them is the resident sour face, Pinky Ponky.
Strangely, he has this deadpan face, dealing with her. Neither does he explain why he was uncontactable , nor does he reassure his mother. He just postpones the conversation and walks his wife to their room. Cool dismissal. I mean, the woman was worried about you, Shivaay, Your MOM?!
Perhaps, he didn't want to tell that Annika blew up his car and phone, shared trippy berries and ended up in a car with two escaped convicts. Oh BOY, That'd be a fun conversation.
He wants to check Annika's foot, and Pinky had to see that ! 😕

She asks about the Kulgothra Pooja, and Shivaay snaps , saying he doesn't want the pooja at all.
Annika's face changed as soon as she stepped back into Oberoi Mansion. She is no more Happy, Chatty , OTT Annika. All her frowns and worry lines are back, I could feel the weight on her drooping shoulders. All the pareshaan is back.
Shivaay was talking like it was them against the world. But she doesn't want him to fight his mother. Did you guys catch her anxiety? It really bugged me.

Shivaay, you hold her tightly to yourself okay? She's going to need your strength behind her. She loves it that you are changing yourself for her, but she's starting to see how it will adversely affect your family.
