I understand. I have heard the same from many. But for me it is not terrifying. despite the feeling associated with Tandav dance that it is a dance of destruction. There is another aspect of dance by Lord Shiv too. he is also called Natraj, means the supreme dancer. I see it as a beautiful, matchless dance, which mesmerises me. About the flame silhouette, that is symbolic I interpret. Lord Shiv is energy himself, flames are symbolic of the energy he is. That kind of energy is not always bad; and destruction is not always bad. If destruction is of evil. Shiv means welfare, means destruction can be good alsoo, for welfare of all; and of impurities. .

The famous gorakhshanath temple had this weird music played every few minutes..(dum dum dum dum bajta tha) and I used to run away with fingers in my ears..

Both the opening and closing theme of this show sacred me(one where something like a chakra would fly toward an om.with 90s graphics..I don't remember very much though..I was 5)..I would just close my eyes, put fingers in my ears everytime..

Also..the theme music of doordarshan scares the shit out of me..😆
