and as for dp/pc debate, you can't blame PC if DP doesn't reciprocate to her overtures. Didn't she wish deepika for her birthday on twitter and DP didn't reply? Not that there needs to be a "fake" friendship between them for the sake of appearances, but if PC did her diplomatic work towards DP and if deepika doesn't respond then there is all to it, there is nothing more priyanka can do or should do.
