Anshvi,
This scene came just after Maya's sleeve came out..
I wish they explain that scene more and what was going on in Ayaan's mind..
Have we heard full story from Ayaan's side ?? I think, they muted when Ayaan was telling his story to Saanjh.. I hope we hear his story from his own mouth so as to get the exact idea of what he was thinking and what he was doing.. Maya's intent is clear that she wanted to frame, we have heard her now, but I hope we get an insight to Ayaan's intentions too.. His stance needs more clarity because there is a thin line that makes him either innocent or culpable.. 😕
Lets see.. 😊
The problem was that in the court where the accused and the victim both are asked what transpired at the time of the crime and both tell the court what happened as per them and then the prosecutor questions the accused and the defence counters him in order to save the accused.
But the CVs didn't bother to call Ayaan In the witness box and explain what happened that night rather Saanjh was the one who explained everything which is not the case in actual court hearings.
And yes that time when Ayaan was telling Saanjh what really happened..the CVs either shouldn't have muted that part or should have clarified it more from his part. As u said his stance should have been clarified in a more clear and elaborate way
I hope if the case is re-opened again..this time the CVs let him speak and make things clear once and for all.
Although it is clear that Ayaan was involved in a tussle with Maya while Maya framed her for attempt too rape..in fact she had pre planned this...it was evident from his shocked expression when she said that he was trying to rape her..it was clear that Rape was the last thing on his mind.
P.s. - not sure we should be too hopeful wid the CVs when it comes to court cases..Remember the last time the judge said 'court Ayaan ko jail ki sazaa sunati hai'...the lady judge did not even bother to mention the number of years /months ...I mean who does that 😆
