For me piku is deepika

i cannot imagine any other actress as piku not even brilliant actresses like kangana or vidya

Deepika was brilliant..consistent..real..subtle..and displayed a wide range of emotions through her eyes..

now parineeti as we all are aware was offered the movie. I like parineeti too but I feel she has mostly done some high on energy roles..not so subtle ones like piku..while i don't question her talent..i am not so sure how well she would have done as piku..

thoughts?

Deepika was fabulous in Piku, she was brilliant and nuanced
IDK if Pari would've pulled it off as brilliantly as she had done especially since she's typecast as the loud sassy bubbly girl.

it might have been a very good chance for parineeti to genuinely do something different and break the loud bubbly girl stereotype

According to IF logic in some alternate universe parineeti has already done all the challenging roles of alia and deepika and aced them even better than the two 😊

Piku is Deepika. period. Parineeti would have ruined it at least for me with her loud acting. Plus Deepika looked so appealing in that simple look which Parineeti would not be in million years.

She would have done it as well as Deepika and most importantly, I would have enjoyed the movie much more than I did.

Spoiled the movie. Screeched and acted insane. Driven poor Senior character to his death during the road trip and made Irfan character a murderer based on her actions if she was anything like HTP.
