One of the scene I would like to mention , In the bengali version , The character here played by Mishti (Sabnam), she was shown in bed of a military camp after being brutal rape(Not shown), Her father sees her and about to console where she is like the deadbody , In background someone said,"Khol" in camp and in front of her father she opens here pajama ...

Yeah that is a rip-off from a Saadat Hussain Manto story.

Anyways, Begum Jaan was beyond horrible, marred but cliched story, poor direction and substandard acting. 👎🏼

Exactly. Thats why i want her to come out this year cuz its a very weak year and Kajol has always won in weak competition years. 😭 Only god knows why the shooting has been shifted and if it is coming out this year or not.
