Only being discussed coz it is related with a movie and how she herself emphasized on being in shape for the shooting to begin

not with any aim to defame a woman post pregnancy or to mock her

but with a movie lining up ready to go on floors in May..like 10 days from now..has kareena's attempts to shed off kilos and get back to work in 3 months post pregnancy really paid off? I feel even though she is trying..her body has not responded the way one might have expected..all the while she was pregnant..she never really showed on face much etc so I was thinking she may actually (how she claimed) be back to how she looked in 3 months but clearly I don't see that..in fact I think she has gained even more

again if her character is pregnant or allows her to be this size..all good..but if it requires her to be in shape..the efforts have not really been fruitful coz i don't see much change and especially now when the movie is all set to go on floors..

that was initially when she was supposed to start shooting in Aug'16

but it was later changed and decided that she won't play pregnant hence was shifted to go on floors from May'17..giving kareena 3 months to lose the weight..

imho she can never get back in shape. Her body type won't allow her now to lose the pounds she gained. Back then she had done a size zero but hormonal changes play games and it gets really tough.
But shape and size should not be a matter for her to play any role in BW.

btw the movie news was just a cover for Sonam's no movie offers period. The script is not even ready how will they start shooting in 10 days?

There was no need to give such grand statements, knowing her body type (she tends to put on weight easily) and she was becoming a mother. But then, that's what is Kareena. What is bebo without her statements?

it's a movie on a girls road trip right? like dil chahta hai vibes?

can't 1 of the 4 girls be not slim?

do all the girls have to be some kind of "body goals" in order to make audience take interest in watching their slice life movie?

ask kareena

she made those statements and claims ..not me

and all girls are not the same body type ...swara is there too and she has a totally different frame than sonam..and we are all cool with that..but if swara made statements that she would lose all weight before veere begins..we may ask her..not implying that we demand that..

I don't think she requires to be some very slim body type anyway. She's going to be shown pregnant in half the movie anyway! I'll watch this one in the theatre. It'll be fun. Kareena needs to lose some 4-5 kilos more to look like a well-fed upper-class film (am presuming that's who she will be seeing it's a Sonam & Kareena film produced by Rhea, lol)

As for why she makes these statements, that's Kareena.
