Unsung Singers! Singers with memorable songs/hits but underappreciated

Although one could argue that pretty much all playback singers are unsung, as usually people associate songs with actors and actresses on whom the songs are picturised, there are many Bollywood playback singers who didn't quite receive appreciation and accolades like their contemporaries did.

Who would be in your list of unsung singers- singers who gave memorable songs/hits, yet somehow did not amass a large fan following and did not receive many accolades and awards?

I will start with Vinod Rathod, who gave hits like Aisi Deewangi, Nayak Nahin Kahlnayak Hoon Main and Kitabein Bahut Si, to name a few.

He actually has a pretty impressive discography, yet I don't see many people remembering him or appreciating him.

This song made me go rolling on floor at too many extent 😆 😆

the vfx

and the lyrics...

but the most laughable moments were when the sublime voice of Udit Narayan end...and voice of nusrat fatehs voice used to start 😆

The song is good but what on earth is Sanjay Dutt doing?! Takes hamming to a new level!

And the VFX reminds me of Jaani Dushman. 😆

Never seen this before, I liked it actually 😊 The song. the performance, even the kitschy VFx didn't ruin the enjoyment but Sanjay's oiled torso 😲 managed to do the trick in the end 😕 Other than that 👍🏼

Do you mean Chitra? Though she is a multi-award winning artist, so perhaps not. 😃
