Unspoken Promises - A RumYa SS

"Rudra, tum thik ho na, kahi dard to nahi ho raha?"

Rudra sighed, closing his eyelids, hearing the same line in every one hour from his wife, Soumya. Since the time of that blast happened in Rudra's car, Soumya was running around him, taking care of his every small need. Thankfully he escaped from the car in the crook of time; he wasn't hurt much except few scratches on his hand and a little wound on his head. But Soumya's concern was on some altogether different level.

Rudra's mind being with plenty of thoughts and emotions, just nodded a bit, without saying anything. Ayan and Soumya's smiling faces, they way they talked being carefree with each other kept flashing before his eyes over and over. He sat straight on the bed, getting up in a moment.

"Tumhe ye sab karne ki jaroorat nahi hai, Soumya." His cold tone draped in words as if they meant nothing to each other, hit her heart like a sharpened knife.

"Kya bol rahe ho Rudra?"

"Wahi jo tumne suna. I'll make sure ke hamara divorce jald se jald ho jaaye, taki tum aur Ayan... Tum aur Ayan..." he terribly failed to even imagine that, leave aside saying but quickly added, holding his emotions in his control, "Taki tum aur Ayan ek sath apni nayi zindagi ki shuruwat kar sako."

Since I am not sure if I will be able to complete this in three shots, I am currently keeping this as SS. I will change the title, when I finish.
