There is no official ban. Ban and boycott are two different things.

And the fact that the 'leader's of India who are supposed to be educated and informed are leading this charade is the worst part.

To think, India, a nation to which so many individuals belong whom have been victims of discrimination, and racism post the 9-11 attacks all around the world would have a better sense of understanding and rationalism when it came to issues like this...but nope. Truly disappointing.

Also what is not showing a movie in a theatre going to prove? šŸ˜† At the end of the day Fawad still got paid, it is Karan, an Indian who will succumb to the real losses ( if any).

Brilliant Post ...the world has finally found the next Einstein, VanGogh, Shakespeare rolled in to one entity...Aap Purush hi nahi...Maha Purush Hai.

Now Enlgihten us and Tell us Indians ...Have we gone to Bronze Age or Stone Age ?...So that we can dress accordingly.

Bold - Didn't know Canadian laws were applicable to India...We know Pak applies the above for HS, MA, SS etc.

P.S -...and the India Fetish continuesšŸ˜†...Lage raho ...dil behlta rahega.

There is no 'ban' per se. Pakistani citizens in all fields can still apply for work permits. No one is trying to deport every Pakistani in India either.
The ADHM controversy is mostly isolated to one political party in one region of the country. To call an entire nation 'backward' on account of this is a broad and unfair generalization.

As some people pointed out, the tactics and rational behind the ADHM controversy are questionable. As an actor, Fawad Khan got paid for the hours he put in. The calls to ban screening of this film negatively impacts Indians who are relying on post production income. It also impacts civilians who just want to watch a movie. But I think people should realize this is much more about political mileage than actual issues with Pakistan.

I wont think that its about India being backward because someones statement like some groups dont define how the whole India thinks like i am an Indian and i dont support this kind of things because as an mature individual i feel such things wont stop anything and telling this doesn't make me less Indian and banning a movie wont do any good and i feel so many Indian and paki people live together away from their countries and are best of friends me being a follower of so many shows also have friends from paki and i dont feel any negativity. We as individuals love our countries but it doesn't mean we should hate the other one if we want this world to be a better place peace is the only solution
