It is the equivalent to if America had deported every muslim after the 9/11 attacks...pretty much a direct violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedom every individual is entitled to. And the fact that the 'leader's of India who are supposed to be educated and informed are leading this charade is the worst part.

To think, India, a nation to which so many individuals belong whom have been victims of discrimination, and racism post the 9-11 attacks all around the world would have a better sense of understanding and rationalism when it came to issues like this...but nope. Truly disappointing.

Also what is not showing a movie in a theatre going to prove? 😆 At the end of the day Fawad still got paid, it is Karan, an Indian who will succumb to the real losses ( if any).

it is not about being backward...it is about cultural isolation...but cultural isolation alone does not do anything(I don't know what other decisions are being taken...like about the IWT and MFN status)

I agree with the last 3-4 lines though...fawad is already paid!...the PH that will suffer losses is Indian,the main leads are Indian,the supporting actress is Indian...fawad only has a 10 minute role.

Actually this is giving too much importance to a pakistani actor.

Put bans for the future.

When our neighbors are backward then we are forced to take some backward decisions. A very good one IMO.

Not whole India but some people are and they are everywhere not just in India.. Situation is such ke kuchh logo ko bahana mil gya hai apni manvane ka.. and people like mahesh bhatt who strongly believes in peace and in fact was doing so much for both nation's wellness thru his medium can't do much now coz of some really pathetic souls labeling such great minds anti-nationalists etc.. anything mahesh will say or do now it will be turned into an selfish act..

but atleast he spoke..👍🏼

You are mistaken, Indian govt. has not made any such blanket ban, so there is no question of any violation of any charter or any rights. Indian people certainly have the right to decide whether they want to boycott products of certain country. If they decide to boycott a movie which features a Pakistani, you have absolutely no right to say that they can't do it. It's their money and they don't want to spend it on watching a movie with a Pakistani actor. It's the cinema hall owners money and they don't want to spend it on buying a print of that picture for their hall. It's that simple.

Why are you so concerned about India? Do you live in India? No. And you are most welcome not to visit India ever either. So, tell me, why exactly is it your concern? Why do you think you can advise India and Indians? Did we ask for it? Do you pay taxes here or contribute in any way? Maybe we don't want to be rational and understanding; maybe we want to ban Pakistani actors to prove that we are backwards. Do you have a problem with that? If you do, keep that to yourself, we don't want your advice.
