Why does Pooja cover her head?

I didn't watch the initial episodes. So is there any specific reason why Pooja covers her head?

She wore modern clothes in earlier episodes but then once she decided to come and help Naren, She was shown as helper to him/Supriya who was orphan, uneducated and poor. Then she changed her entire look. And then this ghungat came.

Even I wonder why she has to cover her head, even if she is helper. yaaro i think ghunghat is the symbol of sanskari😆...as they want to show pooja as sanskari...they put ghunghat on her head 😆 bichari tying hard to handle it😆

I am hoping Naren will tell her to remove that 😆 hahaha🤣

She is supposed to be the daughter of some Pandit. Maybe thats why?
