So after watching the episode it feels as if we're sitting in a family court and one of the spouses have filled for a divorce 🤣. Not one single statement from saanjh "the defense attorney" was logical or related to the case. What does a rape case have to do with what's going on with the husband and wife? it's funny how saanjh was reminding Maya that they're at the court but she failed to keep a professional atmosphere herself. lol why was she even trying to get close to Arjun while questioning him? PATHETIC! Why did she keep on repeating "Jub aap ki wife ka rape ho raha tha?" Did she forget that it's an "attempt to rape" case and not a "rape" case?
The prosecution on the other hand didn't even know what was going on. Can we at least have a prosecuting attorney for Maya cuz the one at the court seemed as if he just sat there for the heck of it. Did the judge even know what was going on?

I'm not hating on the actor/character here because I think the script was poorly written. The writers need help from a law professional if they want to show this kind of track because even a person who has no knowledge of law will know that nothing is making sense over here.

I hope the cvs show some logic to why Maya does what she does tomorrow and don't just ruin her character because that is a huge step and if we can also see less of saanjh screaming. (Just because she's a lawyer doesn't mean she can yell at everyone as she told Maya "yahan pe aap Nahin mein cilla sakti hun" lol)

when you think about it her defence was weak and really hilarious
it seemed like she was taking out all that personal anger
the judge seemed like a dumbo, overall the episode was so bad.

one thing got me thinking, the flashback that saanjh described is different from the flashback that ayan told saanjh when she was questioning him!

do you reckon that saanjh made the flashback up?

It has to do madam, because not every girl files a fake rape case. The defence attorney was just trying to prove that your beloved maya mehrotra wanted to keep the Sharma family out of their lives by hook or by crook and even fall so much to the extent to file a fake attempt to rape case. So whatever the defense attorney was doing was to prove her point. You can't just go and tell that judge I don't think it's a rape case. You have to prove what kind of framing woman she is and what motives she can have to fake a rape. 😊 !!

I guess you gotta watch the episode again madam. The lawyer stands exactly where saanjh stood before the witness box . It was Arjun every time bringing his head down to her, as if naak se naak lagaakar jhagra karna cha raha ho bandaa! Lol!

PATHETIC! Why did she keep on repeating "Jub aap ki wife ka rape ho raha tha?" Did she forget that it's an "attempt to rape" case and not a "rape" case?

So what should she have said? " jab aapki wife ka attempt to rape ho raha tha!" Arre ye toh zahir h that if someone tries to rape you, it is not only limited to 'trying' only okay? Ho bhi saktat tha ayaan would have raped her if police didn't arrive. No? You believe that don't you!

The prosecution on the other hand didn't even know what was going on. Can we at least have a prosecuting attorney for Maya cuz the one at the court seemed as if he just sat there for the heck of it. Did the judge even know what was going on?

Yes the judge knows very well what's going on. But I pity the prosecution though. All limelight to be given to maya ka tonight wala robe opening scene, he was made to sit silently. Poor buddha!

Have you ever been to a court of law? Do you even know how much lawyers can grill you and in what language and tone? I guess not. So you don't even have an idea that saanjh was basically a very sober lawyer given the soft girl she is...she must have changed herself a lot to stand as a lawyer and yet remains quite sober.

Though you won't like any, but my replies are in bold!😊

Saanjh's language in court sounds like sadak chaap quarreling, even those people are better. I want to remind people that Nanga word is used often by Saanjh outside and inside the court. Any person would start getting aggregated when somebody keeps calling refers you as Nanga sach when in reality that person's heart is completely black 😡

Her whole defense is built on Arjun-Maya's twisted relationship. Since her argument is maya controls Arjun and has prevented him from meeting his family and this rape allegation is Maya's attempt to get Arjun away, Sanj has to show how twisted Arya relation is if she is to win. She is doing exactly what a defense attorney is supposed to do.

But the court scenes looked like a one man's show, it is all Sanj and the other attorney is there and has no questions for the witnesses..if he was also in the game going shoulder to shoulder with Sanj it would have been mre interesting. I think they should have made Maya defend herself. Them it would have been a lot more interesting with maya and Sanj going neck to neck at each other.

I think they will show the questioning from the other attorney later, for whatever reason.

Maybe the first half of the trial is Sanj having an upper hand and second half maya having an upper hand. I am 90% sure Sanj will lose.

To me it looked like sanjh was the obsessed one yesterday . Her expression s showed a lot of behandness when she was questioning Arjun about his relationship with Maya. What ever she spoke was really hurting her within .

I'm actually a law student working at a DA's(Distract Attorney's) office here in California so I have been to quiet a few court proceedings including attempt to rape cases. I'm not sure how its done in India but over here, The opening statement is made by the prosecution and then then defense makes its opening statement. Whereas Saanjh made the opening statement and the prosecution didn't even get a chance to talk lol. Then the prosecution does direct examination and after that the defense does cross examination. So saanjh should have questioned Arjun after the prosecuting attorney. After that the defense which is saanjh would have done direct examination with her witnesses ( the girlfriend and her parents lol and the parents would have to be present in the witness box instead of saanjh just casually asking them across the room). Then cross examination by the prosecution and then a rebuttal where the prosecution would have presented the evidence. And then it would go on from there. That is how a normal proceeding goes but since this is a tv show they cant just show a perfect hearing but they can at least make it relatable. No? And I repeat, I was questioning the writers for the poor script which made saanjh look unprofessional despite her efforts. If I was the prosecuting attorney, I would have objected to a lot of the words saanjh used and made her rephrase them (nanga, psycho etc). The language used by saanjh isn't allowed in a courtroom. In rape cases, police is preferred as the witness instead of close relatives/friends of the defendant lol. And NO a lawyer is not allowed to stand that close to the witness box or the person himself to where they look like they're talking to each other. Oh and on the judge part, saanjh was actually telling her what to say or do 😆.
Ayaan's story was different, Saanjh's story was different and what we saw was a whole different thing lol so don't even get me started on that. Oh and point to be noted, Saanjh failed as a lawyer. period.

Yes, saanjh was actually good at telling the story lol. She should have been a writer instead of a lawyer. 😆
