Can't help but think if Kajol was in ADHM would have she done better?

No. The script was particular about person being stunning to look at. Kajol is more talented but Ash is far more beautiful. She had awesome chemistry with Ranbir as bonus. 😊

Aish perfectly fitted the character and justified it. Kajol would have ruined it.

Aish'a role is that of an enigmatic IDK, femme fatale(or seductress?), Kajol cannot play such roles... It's a role made for Aish, not just because she is beautiful, but has a certain physical appeal 😃
