No. Philaluri in spite of getting good reviews is struggling to make 20 crores. Maximum collections seem to be because of Diljeet.

Making money in spite of bad reviews in star power.

None of the heroines really do unfortunately. They add value to the big films for sure but just on their own unless content is good they're not able to do much.

i feel that is not limited to heroines

baring khans and varun from recent lot i doubt many have the power to open a movie lacking in other departments big..openings of BV and Mohenjodaro clear a lot on how important trailers and songs are for these stars to get an opening

For some unexplained reason, Anu has starred in so many successful movies, still her star power is less than DP, Kat and Alia.

Female actors don't have "star power" in India.

What they do is a certain attraction when packaged in the right movie opposite the right male actor.
