But then delivered 5-6 mega flops in a row.

She was considered "the fourth Khan" but what happened??

It was the myth of "star power".

The truth is Ghanchakkar while it had it's plus points, was not a great film. Shaadhi Ke Side Effects was even worse. And although I was dying to watch it, Bobby Jasoos was atrocious 😭

Sridevi fans call her the "first female superstar" and the "last empress" yet she's had probably close to 100 flops. Where's the power?

"Star power" is not the ability to pull crowds to the theatre to watch a bad film. If anything, it's the power to stand out in a bad film as well as a good one.

No she does not has star power.

Only audience has the power to create and destroy a star as per its choice. Now days it is a tedious job to judge public mood because people say something and do something else. This has became pain in the butt for the people involved in marketing and advertising as surveys are equally confusing.

Now-days audience is the ma- baap of all the actors because now-days Ma- Baap decide which movie they need to watch. 😆

This is what now-days I have learned from my work. You need to target the decision makers for making profits.

ghanchakkar was definitely manhoos for emraan and Vidya

both coming fresh from back to back successes and easily at their peak..and after the movie..have not seen a single success till date..

She divorced Rishi Zaveri, the jeweler guy (of Zaveri jewelers family), Rishi was cheating on her, then she married this other Gujju businessman Krushant and now spending her time travelling all over the world.

HAK had good songs but it was a very depressing film with a tragic ending. People have become snowflakes nowadays, cannot accept a tragic ending. They only want entertainment, entertainment entertainment 😛
