Krk once rightly compared her to Kareena. Survives on the back of others. Her every hit is due to a Khan.

no heroines have star power, period. sridevi and madhuri days are long gone.
for actors barring khans, hardly anyone can open movies.

kareena still gave a JWM and very recently a ki and ka..2 successes on her shoulders where she was the biggest star of the movie..

that doesn't erase what happened with GTPM and the likes but still is somehow decent esp considering this being her 17th year and still giving solo successes like ki and ka..which also opened pretty well..

anushka has yet to do that..

Ki and Ka was an average grosser thanks to Arjun just like Phillauri will be thanks to Diljit.

jwm was not a success cos of kareena kapoor. the movie had superb direction, music, performances, ...ppl didn't rush to theaters to see kareena kapoor. movie had a very average opening.

same goes for ki and ka. janta didn't run to theaters to see kareena kapoor. some bhule bissre went to theaters just to see an average movie, for time pass

Haha no. No actress as such has a star power that can pull audience to watch a bad film. That being said, she has less 'stardom' as compared to her contemporaries like DP, Kat and Alia. I live in India and yet to meet an Anushka fan IRL.
