Yes, even I was surprised by only 25 lakh prize money !!

It used to be 1 Cr + Album deal when Indian Idol started.

Do they pay the singers anything per episode as well? Could this be reason for reduced prize money?😕

im sure they pay singers per episode plus their food lodging. they also get a Mahindra car. well, they did this time.

its ones own luck too. arijit is a product of a reality singing show.

abhijeet sawant not just sang. but acted in a movie and also danced in jhalak dikhla jaa with his wife. how would he get a chance iif he didnt get noticed in indian idol. but his film didnt run.

the janta is lapping up atif aslams songs because he has that unique factor otherwise janta would hv made abhijeet as big as atif by buying his songs not atifs.

if it came down to better singer then shravan should hv won or the girl contestant...they were flawless. why did revanth even come into final five? janta voted. thats why.

Damn I can never forget Indian Idol 3 season. That season was a war in Shillong. Damn how everyone here turned against us Nepalis, as Prasant Tamang was getting so much votes lol, while there was Amit Paul from Shillong. Although Amit was miles better than Prasant, Prasant winning was the best thing, as it ultimately cooled down the situation here in Shillong. And now people here hate Amit Paul. after he publicly told he belonged to Assam and not Meghalaya. Although his performances were mint, Indian 3 was the best season for me. Chang. Dipali, Amit, Charu, Ankita , Emon and others, what a line up. Plus there was not much sob story apart from Prasant's.

Amit Paul was the best all rounder Indian idol. He had a beautiful voice..he was nice looking and he was down to earth, pleasant.

Plus the two rivals Prashant tamang and Amit Paul became best friends.

That whole line up was so good...anyone from Chang..Dipali..Emon..Amit Paul ..could ve won and be accepted...Chang's done very well in Bollywood..hosting..acting..doing ads..this is a CHINESE guy.!
