The movie is not my favorite. But it has its charm and is 1000 times better than soulless Mirziya. But the songs are love. Especially Rehna Tu. But this one I remember for under rated but gorgeous pairing of AB Jr. and Sonam. I remember reading critics say how Sonam was a breathe of fresh air on the screen. She was lovely in this song and movie. I sometime wonder why it took her so long to realize that these kind of movies are her strength. Hopefully Neerja might have helped remind her of same.

She was a button in it. She's great in roles that require to be innocent and feisty. A pity flowerpot roles were beginning to be the rage around that time.

You know what! I never thought about it like that but bold is so true. Thoe were awful times for women in mainstream indian cinema. The lack of substance was😒

You & Chuddail might be onto something. I agree with you. It will be interesting to see how her next will pan out. I heard she has a small role in Padman too? Hopefully its something worth it, the movie is not giving me great vibes so far tbh

Mehras biggest weakness imo. I think that he is very self indulgent s a moviemaker & can get lost in metaphors if no one (producer or editor) reigns him in. Mirzya is he perfect example of that

Delhi 6 is a good friend of mine favorite movie, she will fight anyone who critizises it😆

I think he uses too much of symbolism...at times it becomes a little difficult for the audience to understand it 🤔

Sonam is always a breathe of fresh air for me.. IDK why people bash her, she's not that good acting wise, but damn, her screen-presence is really good.

I was one of those odd people who loved the movie and watched it thrice in the theaters...Absolutely loved Sonam and even Abhishek and the other supporting characters...Story was a bit of a hotch potch which actually ruined the movie...
