Ananya Verma is just a made up name as a cover up for avni. Avni as ananya purposely went to the same jewelers that riya said she was at on social media and started pretending to be her biggest fan, and riya, being full of herself decided to make ananya her best friend just because ananya praises her and even invited ananya to her engagement. This was just a trick for avni to get into the mehta's lives again. Nobody knows where ashish is as it hasn't been mentioned at all even by daya. He did marry neela but then after he accused avni of killing her own mother, neela had enough of him and demanded a divorce from him which he indifferently gave her, so yes she is still single. And finally daya doesn't care what neela is doing or where she is and has not mentioned even her name after the leap.
