& moreover, wen maya was ready2 share her past wid him, arjun was d one who asked her not to reveal anytn cuz he doesnt care abt her past. ( afta d bachelor party). but i DO agree dat maya shud hav shared her mental probs wid arjun..

OK ..so Maya didn't tell Arjun about her past because Arjun told her that he doesn't care about her past...but why was Maya hiding her current feelings from Arjun? She used to feel insecure whenever Arjun talked to other women...she should have told Arjun about her insecurities and fear instead of pretending to be secure and chilled. She was faking to be an another person in front of Arjun. She pretended to be a strong, secure and innocent person which was wrong. Arjun didn't know that he had to go through hell in future. Arjun made promises and fell in love with the fake personality of Maya . Had he known her real personality then it would have been wrong on his part to misbehave with her.

For Arjun to undestand and cure for Maya I don't even think he would have realised Maya has mental issues. Maya would be increasingly dominating and controlling him to isolate him from everyone, friends family and all others. But never given the hint of her mental issues for Arjun to know that Maya has some health issues. He knew jhanvi has. Not Maya. How can he, a not so brainy not so deep thinking guy expect a independent successful beautiful bold woman to be sick.

To get help, one needs to accept he/she is mentally ill. Self realisation is must to get medical help. Does Maya consider herself mentally unstable? Otherwise even psychiatrist can't help, let alone arjun.

Arjun loves Arjun. He was never able to love Maya or even Saanjh selflessly. Both these women gave up WAY more than they should for him. Maya gave up her God, Saanjh gave up years of her life and energy.

Maya very well know, she is mentally ill. That is why she was taking tablets & refused Jhanvi about telling truth to Arjun. She fears Arjun leaving her if he knows her problem. But if Arjun is mature enough, he can convince Maya with love to take treatment. Love is about being a support system even in an illness not taking revenge on an insane mind.

No1 here said Arjun is psychiatrist but if he truly loved Maya he could have helped her get medical help. If Arjun lovingly ask Maya she would even give her life, why would she refuse treatment if Arjun assures her he would be by her side.
