When we set an opinion on these fictional characters, we represent our thought-process in evaluating real life situations.
The people who are saying Saanjh deserved the slap, to the people who are saying Maya is pure evil, please contemplate about it and tell is that really a logical opinion?
A person is entitled to his or her opinion but would you think the same if you would see exact same situation and characters in your real life?
Let's get this straight. EVERY character here is GRAY & WRONG AT SOME TIME. No one is fully black or white. Let's not even talk about Arjun, he is out of the understanding league I dont understand why two girls even love him so obsessively, jaise dunya mein larkey kam hogaye hai😆
However, Maya, Saanjh, Vandana all of them have been wrong at some point.
How many of you would be fine living under one roof with a person like Maya who does manipulations to separate a family? Even if Vandana was the meanest creature, this doesn't give right to Maya to manipulate and separate a family. If Maya was the one bonding Arjun and Vandana she did that unintentionally she was just saying her story and that brought sense to Arjun and he reconciled with his mother.
To those who say "irrespective" of gender. Why the word irrespective in gender? Weren't these the one's telling that people can't accept a Bossy Maya because she is a lady and if it were a man who did such acts then people would be drooling over his actions. So we come to this point again, how about a man would do manipulations and separate his wife from her family mother brother, that surely wouldn't have been acceptable to anyone but just because it's Maya let it go. Nope!
And the gender in violence. You are NOT allowed to hit a woman no matter in which situation you are. The people who hated Ashwin for physically hurting Maya are the same people who says Saanjh deserved the slap. Like really? Okay the situation is really huge. She was the reason for miscarriage but is there actually a baby at first place? And even if this issue gets aside, and he hit her but after getting his calm he should realise slapping was too much. Nothing can be worser than a baby dieing of any parents but didnt Maya separate a son and a mother too?
Talking about Vandana, she became unbearable so many times. She should have followed her extincts but with less of melodrama and the over reaction. Due to her ill behavior Maya got really triggered.
And Saanjh she should definitely set boundaries not because her best friend is married but because the best friend whom she used to love is married. Maya will definitely feel unusual knowing Saanjh loved Arjun before. But this doesn't make Saanjh only responsible for setting limits Arjun should be blamed equally in crossing boundaries.
To conclude, every character has crossed limits in this show sometime or the other and I analyze them the same way I would analyze people in real life. So those who dislike Maya or Saanjh please don't justify sensitive issues like "physical violence" "manipulative games" just because it is done with your least favourite character by your most favourite character. We are individuals who have to face this world with eyes that sees justice, hears truth and a mind that accepts what is right.
This is not targetted at any specific person, its COMPLETELY GENERAL POST because I don't even know anyone over here. 😳
I watch Beyhadh and enjoy every character every situation of this drama and don't really have favourites.
