Kabir connecting with each of Kohli members is shown in a much realistic approach of Kohlis financial issues without which Myra wouldn't work for him and he wouldn't have attained this chance of being a PG at Kohlis,
Rhea gets scolded by both mom and Abha di for being irresponsible but they also complement her for being so generous in helping someone in need (Kabir) just like her dad. Rhea then detonates a bomb saying that she has promised Kabir to let him stay as a PG at their place for which they can rent out their store room. Myra rejects this idea panicking instantly but gets shut down when Rhea reveals that she's doing a similar deed to Myra. Myra started working as a freelancer for Kabir and Rhea has decided to bring in Kabir as a PG, both are looking out in their own ways to earn more money. Rhea also clarifies her own stance that she also wanted to help out Kabir as he's too ill and can't be left to fend for himself when she gets questioned by both mom and Abha di that she could've informed them prior promising Kabir. Rhea-Myra does a small cat fight for a few moments while mom and Abha di try to pacify them. They finally pay heed to Abha di's requests as she's unwell and Rhea leaves to her room. Myra apologises to mom-di for not revealing to them about her work as a freelancer as it wasn't important, Abha di states her stance that she supports Rhea in this as even Myra is working for Kabir when she always had numerous complaints on him.
Next day, mom-Rhea are set on the work of cleaning up their storeroom for Kabir. Kohli mom is the typical me who fondly starts reminiscing while narrating stories of memories when I come across them and is too reluctant to even throw away the "vintage collection of plastic covers" as jokingly said by Rhea. Mom's hand reaches for some Cinderella storybooks which are Rhea's gifted by her dad and her name is also imprinted on them, it seems Rhea used to call herself Cinderella and her sisters as step-sisters, Next are some letters of Myra written to her dad and for this story to be told mom calls Myra who's busy at her office but gives out ear for mom, the letter is read out "Dear papa, plzz come back home soon. I promise, I'll study more, play less. will never fight with Rhea but plzz don't repeat this punishment of making us eat mom's food. I gave off to food to Tommy (pet-dog) and even it din't taste it" making both Myra-Rhea burst into loud laughter. Then comes the infamous colour TV which seems to be the 1st of its kind in their entire colony and Rhea-Nikhil duo used to watch it the entire day, when they were kids and its the cause of Nikhil getting spectacles, mom asks Rhea to search for the remote for which Rhea reminds her that they aren't in a treasure hunt mission and they're rather in the process of trashing the crap. Stories like Rhea's rerecording her aunt's tape with a filmy song and it being misplayed at a religious place are eventually popped up,
Mom next gets her hands on an old table-fan and wardrobe while she wants to check whether the table-fan is working as she doesn't want to give them away fondly stating that they're gifts from her dad to her at the time of her wedding. Next mom calls Abha di as she's found Abha's kitchen set from her childhood but Abha asks her to give it away as Aryan wouldn't obviously use it. By the time Myra is back home in the evening, their hall is filled with different items pulled out from the storeroom by Rhea. Mom tells Myra that she found a "sandook" (chest/box) in the storeroom and we reel to the day's flashback when Rhea-mom are shown fighting for the box to be thrown out or to be kept as its a treasure box for mom which she brought filled with all of her belongings after marriage. Rhea jokes that its odd to even use a suitcase as trolleys are the trend and her mom is after an old box as Kohli mom by now sat on the box reluctant to move from there and Rhea is unable to move the box now. Mom happily tells Myra that she saved a bat for our Jr.E but Myra states the fact that they've never seen Aryan go out to play.
As Myra-Rhea share a room, its now filled with some things and as Myra's hasn't yet cooled down her anger for Rhea asks her to clear those crap away. Rhea shows a mobile which seems to be her 16th birthday gift from her dad which is also her last one with her dad, a crayon box which seems to the 1st time Abha di received a prize a an art competition and she's preserving only those items with which they have special emotions attached, both seems to be emotional now as theirs voices are seemingly shaken. Rhea decides on her own to give away for Kabir's use some of her belongings and also Myra's gift to her which hurts Myra but still Rhea remains unmoved by Myra's emotions.
Rhea has time and again proved that she's self-absorbed and pays no heed to others emotions be it her own family. She was stubborn with her mom but she herself picked off those things as memories which felt important for her.
This is a really good episode and we all might have passed through this dilemma as to whether keep those things we're emotionally attached with or to just trash them as we do know that they're crap which are of no use anymore. I myself have a couple of bags filled with memories from my childhood like many cartoon pictures, tatoos, figures, animal figures, drawing and story books, cassettes, sea shells and many more. I feel those bags will have go with me wherever I go.
