People went to the movies to see sunny deal. they barely knew SRK.

they were impressed by SRK'S performance.

Yes, SRK had the more powerful role even if a shorter screen time. Sunny had nothing to do in the film except selling it on his star power.

No, SRK did not win any 'best villian award' for Darr. Believe it was Amrish Puri for Damini. SRK won it the next year for Anjaam.

@bold surprisingly it was Paresh rawal who won that year for Sir..
