DARR was Blockbuster b/c of Sunny Deol not Srk-BOI

In a recent Q/A, BOI reveal that it was Sunny deol who dominated 90's decade, especially mid-90's, 93, 94, 95, which clearly indicate that 93's Blockbuster Darr's whole success credit goes to it's hero Sunny deol not srk.

Expected specially after sunny and sallu better actor thread 😆

Well,I don't know about that but this role is one of the best roles of srk and he got lot of praise and appreciation for this.

So I don't care if Darr was blockbuster because of Sunny or Juhi or Anupam Kher or Tanvi Azmi or Anu kapoor.

For me,this is always an srk film.

i'm sorry i didn't get what you meant.

from what i remember - sunny was the bigger star BEFORE darr, no doubt about that. and srk was not even the first choice. i think aamir was offered the role but he didn't want to play a negative character. And after darr, it was srk who became huge while sunny could not really standout in the film. And sunny and srk relationship soured after that

at least thats what i recall from old articles. if it was something else, pls do tell


I don't know who the audience went to see when they bought the tickets to darr. but after seeing it, everyone just remembered srk. That i am sure of.
