now lets remember our excited Soha was coming to Delhi she really wanted to meet her father but getting the reactions from everyone at her home she knew her father is not liked and she promises her mother she will not want to meet her father .

Dev has learned he is a father he like any newly father is overwhelmed with happiness all he wants at this stage is to tell his daughter he is her dad

and he does so in a calm yet emotions filled within him letting Suhana know he is her father now first on hearing her friend is actually her father she is shocked , also remember the fact that she loves Golu's BigCha so now he been her father does make the situation a little difficult as she has promised her mother not to meet her father she needs to make sure her mother is happy she is so like her father always making his mother happy

Dev revealing the truth had to be done its how he as an adult take the situation and thus far he has not forced Soha for anything then how can he be stupid , if Soha smiled and hugged him then what would the people have said he rushed into telling his daughter because he is selfish

why is it that whatever Dev does its always wrong

let me tell u there is big hypocrisy running in this forum...dev did wrong and am not defending him.

But sonakshi she has also done Many mistakes... But people hesitate to accpet her mistake.

All talk about stand that dev didn't take for her but let me tell them...sonakshi also didn't took stand for Dev in front of bijoy when he accused him. Atleast. Dev took stand for her sometime but sonakshi never took stand not a single time and stop bijoy

Dev maybe not a good husband but he is good man and Sonakshi know that and bijoy accused many times about dev as person and human being also but still she don't took stand for him...

If sonakshi never took stand for him then why u all r expecting from Dev to stand for her...

Am not agianst so-called famous word here found in forum "feminism" but if they will accept that sonakshi who is women also done some mistake and they will not become small if they will accept sonakshi did wrong.

Even I feel surprised sometimes seeing comments of some members asking dev to take stand for her even after leap.

In one post, i saw someone saying dev is still same old dev actually, that member problem is that how he talk with sonakshi like that by seeing yesterday precap that the way dev was saying that he will decide about time and location to meet.

I mean why people r expecting him to be nice with her...she hide the.truth about his daughter. From 7 years and people r expecting him to be nice with her 😆

Another Post, I saw that someone saying dev is spinless because he didn't take stand for Sonakshi when ishwari was accusing her and this happened after leap.

Then same goes with sonakshi also we r seeing after leap track, bijoy accuses dev many times still sonakshi didn't took stand for him...and am not surprised with sonakshi for not taking stand now because first look at.their situation and circumstances that where they both stand.

They r not more husband wife, they have their reasons to hate each.other and so if not standing for each other then, It's fine as looking their situation, there is no need.

So why all r expecting From dev to be nice with her or stand for her even after leap...let First them to solve their problems and misunderstanding then expect Anything..

I sometimes get surprised by such post, people know the story now, understand their situation and still talking and arguing over these illogical things 😆

Di I am not sure if I agree with everything, but I completely agree with you about Dev telling Soha that he is her father. I am just going to copy my post from the analysis thread.

I just saw episode. I personally think, Dev telling Soha that he is her father was not being insensitive. In fact, he seemed to gauge her reaction every time he asked her about her dad. I feel like if she had said that she did not want to meet her father (Dev looked depressed there) I think he would have left without saying anything. Even after telling her by gauging from her reaction, he felt horrible and told her it is ok if she did not talk to her, I felt he was being earnest there. I would have been more appalled if he did not tell her he was her father, and did father-daughter meetings chup chupke.
To be honest, because Dev is so bad at understanding emotions (something I have experience in) he did not expect her to be this confused and in debate with herself. He failed to realize that his daughter is in the same situation he was in many years back, because of his mother's wishes he let go of things he wanted.

By no means am I comparing Sona and Ishu, Sona inadvertently did this while Ishu willingly did this and their situations are different as well. But that dilemma that Dev faced is the same confusion Soha is facing. If you remember the cancellation of the honeymoon time, Dev originally says nothing gets angry at everything, but when Dev realizes that Sona knew the pain he was facing, he broke down completly. Soha is not short tempered like Dev, but someone who cries alone like Sona, and hence she did not say anything.

Agreed Sona could have talked to Soha, comforted her etc, but Soha courtesy of Dev genes, is great at hiding pain. Sona herself did not realize the depth of Soha's confusion and anguish. If Sona saw Soha's face, she would have probably understood the gravity of Soha's emotions (which might happen tomorrow).

Being introverted myself, it is not that hard to mask your feelings from your parents/friends. My parents also don't know how I feel about certain things from a surface level. But being a teenage daughter of my mother, my mom will try to understand the issue, not from me, then listen to me so that she knows how much something has affected me. This is not probably ideal for everyone, but since everyone is different, I think that is what Sona was trying to do.

This is purely my point of view, please don't bash me. But by all means agree/disagree with me. It will help me understanding view points. I am a Dev Dixit in understanding emotions!

ahhh...at last I found a post which doesn't bash Dev and call Sonakshi a matured ideal woman...I can't see anything else now in the show other than the pain a Father is going through. Sonakshi claims that Dev never understood her , but I feel the same for Dev. But I feel , He was also never understood well by Sonakshi. When she came with the child of 6 months , somebody told her not to enter the house. If it was somebody, then why punish Dev? Can't she think at least once whether Dev can do such a thing to her (esp. when she was with his child) ? Does she not know how much Dev longed for a child?
