Pinky's behaviour toward Anika is very demeaning!!

Pinky is an outward character. She speaks often and doesn't stop. We've known this about her character. When she doesn't like something or has something to say, she is quite vocal about it. I believe it was mentioned that this created distance between Shakti and Pinky because Pinky would keep blabbering and say something wrong. So Shakti never took her to events.

That doesn't justified her venom, but it plays a part in why she is so cruel. A vocal personality and insecurities + jealousy towards Anika's closeness with Shivaay resulted in this. While I don't like it, it's actually very in-character for Pinky.

You are right Pinky has confessed a couple times about herself being so. You could take it as at the end of it all this huge amount of hatred she had for Annika will turn into this huge amount of love for Annika when she realizes the truth. I also agree that she has been very harsh towards like so harsh that it hurts me and I'm not even Annika but you know what they say no pain no gain.
