Pinky's behaviour toward Anika is very demeaning!!

and the problem with this is that it is not consistent with her character. I understand that she does not want Anika for a DIL, for her many reasons and there is jealousy as Anika is taking away Shivay's attention from her.I understand all that...but her words and attitude are very extreme and too demeaning...do the writers have to go that far with the insults and humiliation?? that too, in front of any and everybody??

Pinky is an outward character. She speaks often and doesn't stop. We've known this about her character. When she doesn't like something or has something to say, she is quite vocal about it. I believe it was mentioned that this created distance between Shakti and Pinky because Pinky would keep blabbering and say something wrong. So Shakti never took her to events.

That doesn't justified her venom, but it plays a part in why she is so cruel. A vocal personality and insecurities + jealousy towards Anika's closeness with Shivaay resulted in this. While I don't like it, it's actually very in-character for Pinky.

You are right Pinky has confessed a couple times about herself being so. You could take it as at the end of it all this huge amount of hatred she had for Annika will turn into this huge amount of love for Annika when she realizes the truth. I also agree that she has been very harsh towards like so harsh that it hurts me and I'm not even Annika but you know what they say no pain no gain.

WHY even gain? From someone who can be sooo crass? People who say such things should be held accountable for their actions. Saying thats just her character doesn't make it ok :) for the people on the receiving end.

Hatred and insecurity doesn't change to love overnight either. It leads to shame and remorse at best.

Writer said when pinky is insulting anika, it's pinky who is demeaning herself not anika, her respect is intact by not reacting to it, so does it mean u should take vocal abuse it makes you respected, n what about physical abuse, anika should take that also to make her manners glorified, she tried to slap anika too, I don't understand the CVS version of self respect😆
