Yaar ek na cheez hoti hai jisse kehte hain timing. Ye jab set hoti hai na toh choti se choti cheez bhi magnify hoke kafi badi aur full of impact hojati hai. Aur agar ye hi off ho toh even the most sensible thing will end up making you go, "Huh?"
In today's case - Aaj Ka Mandatory Tassan Which Was Very Philosophical But Tassan Nonetheless.
I had a feeling that I wouldn't be so kind to Omkara today, did not count on Gauri to be at the end of my frustration as well. But in her case she made it up for it later on by simply being #awesmazing so chalta hai. Well..Omkara could've made it up for it as well but the ENTIRE episode was just people walking and that suspense of something about to happen soon but not quite. I had my finger on the fast forward button and I didn't even miss anything.
It was smart of Gauri to want to get Omkara's attention to the chains in her feet. She was desperate and Omkara was the only outsider she could trust enough to talk about how she is being forced in the situation. Objectively, the back and forth they had which highlighted his prejudices and her philosophy of 'everything is not what it seemed' was penned down nicely. Like the dialogue exchanges were good. But the reason I couldn't properly get into it was because my brain kept saying, "BEHEN! If you have the time to whisper philosophy to him can't you jaldi se tell him that you are chained LITERALLY?!" I have a feeling that would've made things so much easier for her. Granted, Omkara in his Asshole mode might not have listened to her and chose to ignore but it was a risk worth taking! Aisi life and death urgency mein only in the Vishwas Universe you'd get people calmly saying cryptic words which will take forever to decode.
Smh.
Omkara was just a Disappointed Dude giving those sexily intense expressions in the rest of the episode so I'll keep him on the side (where he belongs today. hmph) Gauri Kumari Ssarma though is a girl right after my own heart. She is smart, she is resourceful, and the best thing is she KNOWS what the situation demands. She has that sense to realize when to deliver which punch and when to simply just give in. I lurved how she dealt with KT. She used strength and her feminine charms to get what she wanted. Just made me chuckle ke men can be such simplistic buffoons xD One more great thing was how after the first encounter, Gauri practically gave up on Omkara to be her savior and took the matters in her own hand. Heck, she didn't even spare Omkara a single thought after that. Did I mention this girl is right after my own heart?
And of course tellywood hai toh things didn't go to plan but koi nahin. It established relevant things like GAURI NEEDS NO MAN TO SAVE HER, SHE CAN SAVE HER OWN SKIN THANK YOU VERY MUCH NAMASTE! Here for that.
NOT here for KT and Gauri getting all the skinship though. TWO hugs and he got to caress her cheek while RiKara haven't even gotten a trip, fall, catch look look hawa hawa session yet?! NAINSAAFI!!!!!!!!
P.S - THAT WHITE DRESS AND THAT JEWELRY IS EVERYTHING!! I needs that! OMG! Shrenu looked so pretty! I need that dress and those accessories, I ain't even kidding.
