You are spot on. Even I was thinking couldn't she have said I am chained, so help me! But, phir drama kahan hota. But , it was good to see her trying what she could in the situation. She first made sure her mom was safe, which was her first priority. But she knows KT may be interested in keeping his promise only till the shaadi and SR, so she is trying to shift her mom to safety by her trusted aides, even though they may be just kids. She is sure a gutsy lady and woman of action , not just words. So, I wouldn't mind her ''vishwaas'' jaap as long as she is doing her bit. She would then rightly prove that god indeed helps those who help themselves. And boy, Shrenu is one pretty lady. She looked so beautiful in both her attires. And her hair neatly done, so much better without that long shabby wig.
Om of course got to see all that made him even more repulsive towards Gauri and her majboori sounded hollow to him. But,the conversation was nice, each clearly stating their stance. I hope they keep such meaningful and powerful conversations going between the two instead of meaningless tashans.
