Agree with the post. Sona's reason sounds insensitive and absurd.

I read there are ten valid reasons that can be put forth for not letting Soha meet her father. I disagree. Not even one reason proves valid when it is used to keep a daughter away from her father.

I also read Dev doesn't deserve Soha because of his present life style. The stress is mainly put on his drinking habit. I feel it is ridiculous. Fatherhood is not certified by vices or virtues. Father is a father even though he is a gentleman,smuggler or a drunkard. No one can take away Dev's right to meet his child Sonakshi's ego made her do such wrong thing and like Iswari she is hell bent upon justifying her deed. I wish Soha's love for Dev in the coming episodes will make Sona realise her mistake.

asking a child if she likes an ice-cream, a toy or a dress is way different from asking her if she misses her dad, has feeling for him etc. we are not expecting sona to become an all knowing gyaani baaba all of a sudden. she has ample hints to her aid.

the day teacher told her that soha picked a quarrel regarding the role of father, there was scope that sona later comes down to have a chat with her. alternately she could have created a situation where soha comes across her dad or has to interact with him, but neither of them need to know the identity of each other. she could use any of helpers/ office staff during this interaction. see how soha warms up to him and dev to her. better still if she made a neutral person like jatin to do this taking to soha instead of she venturing out.

if you see yesterday's scene, dev listened to her, went back to see who the girl is and got connected instantly.

all i mean to say, there is no reason for sona to believe or take things at face value to feel that soha does not have any feelings for Dev and then justify her decision to not sharing the info about soha with Dev based on it.

SOHA not expressing desire to meet Dev can never be a "justification " . may be at age of 6 she chose not to meet her dad, but surely she did not choose it when she was a toddler... hope you can now understand why we are not liking the defence argument of sona is this regard.

You failed as a mother today.Just like ishwari you were unable to understand your daughter needs and her feelings...She badly want to meet her father and more than you she misses him.

ISHWARI, MAMI AND DEV EVERYONE BASHED BOSES AND SONA FOR MARRYING DEV FOR MONEY AND THAT WAS THE ROOT CAUSE FOR THEIR SEPERATION. THINK WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF SHE HAD INFORMED DIXITS IMMEDIATELY AFTER KNOWING THAT SHE IS PREGNANT. DEFINITELY AGIN MAMI AND ISH WOULD HAVE BASHED HER THAT "USING THE UNBORN CHILD AS VICTIM SHE IS AGAIN TRYING TO ENTER INTO DEV'S LIFE SO THAT SHE COULD ENJOY ALL THE MONEY AND LUXURIES THROUGH HER CHILD". IF SOMETHING LIKE THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED THEN SHE WOULD BE TEARED INTO PART AND WOULD HAVE DIED.

HOW STRONG SONA MAY BE,ONE CANNOT BEAR THE INSULT THAT "U CANNOT BECOME A GOOD MOTHER".ONLY THESE WORDS OF DEV HAS HURTED SONA SO MUCH THAT SHE TOOK THIS DECISION. SHE IS A PERSON "WITH A HEART OF GOLD".SO PLEASE DONT EVEN COMPARE SONA TO ISH LEVEL"

Agree with u...how can she said that soha doesn't want to meet her father, then she must be telling truth to her...she doesn't understand her daughter's emotion or feelings.

Ashwathy, I have different reasons for being detached from Sona these days.. the 3rd angle... and the way she is shown to be more accepting of this person. Yes, it is too much to leave decisions to a little child...

Question - why did Sona not get a doubt as to why Dev was in the school? These kind of questions keep bugging me!

Sir don't u think so giving such options n make sure that d person selects ultimately what u want n then saying maine to oh faisla tumpe choda tha..isnt it typical ish trait..maine faisla dev pe choda tha
