you'r right sona should have been more sensitive to her own daughters feelings. but her fear is real too, do remember sona desperately wanted to have a baby. she felt shattered and incomplete as a women, a wife and DIL because she thought that she could not have kids, dev on the other hand said it didnt matter if sona could not have children. but his mother was dying for a grandchild. but most of all things are not cordial between Dev and sona. Dev admits that he would do anything to hurt sona and so in her mind the one thing that would hurt her the most is if Dev would take her daughter away from her.
i dont think sona and ishwari are cut of the same cloth. ishwari is obsessed with her son, ishwari wants to be the only center of Dev's world, even if she succeeds in getting dev married it would be with a girl who is unobtrusive, who has no effect or influence on dev a girl who has no voice or opinion, who would simply have his baby and remain in the background.
i dont think sona would deny her daughter if she really voiced her feelings to meet her father. she would be scared of loosing her daughter but in the end she would do the right thing. i really believe that. in fact if her reunion with Dev had been more cordial and they were not butting heads all the time sona would have told dev of his daughter.
PS.but one thing for sure father and daughter will bond big time, from what we glimpsed today. looking forward to some really cute moments between Dev and Soha.
dev still loves sona and soha will be his way to get her back.
but poor golu is going to be really insecure and upset when he gets to know that soha is his bigcha daughter
