Even though Amitabh maybe India's all time great actor, his initial success period as a leading hero seems to be short, only 11 years, from Zanjeer 1973 to Sharaabi 1984, prior to Zanjeer he was not a hit hero and after Sharaabi 1984, he had many flops, infact the period between 1985-1990 was horrible for him with mostly flop movies.
It is only in the 2000's he actually regained his success with character actor roles
know granted in those days 11 years probably passed really slow 😆, since we had no internet, computers, mobile phone etc... these days, decade seems to fly by with no one noticing
