A show of a girl, stripped her out, publically humiliated her but at whose wish? On the wish of that 'girl' herself!
If people had to protest then they should have protested when a even disgusting concept of ulte phere was proposed. A marriage ending with lightening and decorations and Vividha directly asking Ravish to make me 'un-married', was that not humiliating for a woman? What would Ravish have done if ulte phera was to be actualized, removing sindoor, taking off MS, walking backwards. Was that acceptable and this is not acceptable just because Vividha suddenly lost her voice? And who stopped Vividha from not opening her mouth; she didn't because she never minded her getting so-called humiliated or whatever. It was her desire to be freed from this marriage and she got her wish.
A friend just told me that there is no divorce in Hinduism, it is a legal way out not religious yet people never got disgusted when a married woman dressed up as a widow. Since the beginning of the marriage it was called a forced one, not acceptable, mockery of women rights and now when it has somehow got it's closure, it suddenly becomes a disrespect to women.
I tell you what is disrespect for a woman- kissing a man while her husband is watching; dressing up as widow, why didn't people object then..if that was called as 'creative liberty' and empowerment of women, then why complaining now. This show has always, always made fun of marriage..if that was drama then this is drama too. Even if I want to feel bad for what happened today, I can't because this is what Vividha wanted; she made un-marriage and her desires so important that now I simply can't see beyond her selfishness. Rejoice the azaadi now Vividha..congratulations.
