Since @mcdreamy made a special effort to reply to my post, so here is my response to her;

You said that you are criticising show makers for showing such humiliation of Vividha, my question to you is,

Why didn't you complain when Vividha was molested by a man? I don't care if he was a look alike or what but he was made like Atharv for the audience to believe. Or you didn't get offended by that sequence?

Why didn't you complain when a un-marriage was made a celebration, not only on drama but also here ( I saw posts which were celebrating ulte phere..so I don't buy your argument). Vividha and Ravish both would have been humiliated, in front of a priest. Why are you complaining only about Vividha's humiliation.

Truth is, I simply can't sympathize with Vividha now, because she made a hullabaloo about getting freed from this marriage that now I can't see her beyond that. Had she been a little less 'loud' about unmarriage, I might have given her some benefit of doubt.

Right now I'm speaking for myself and I was definitely NOT okay with molestation track! Of course I objected to it even happening. I say it now as well it was a total mockery made out of Vividha and same goes for the ulte phere. I didn't celebrate that happening nor did I see the need of it. It's not even about just Vividha tbh, if any other woman had been in her place I would have said the same. Divorce papers would have sufficed. Ravish's dialogues were bang on, but the makers contradicted themselves in the same moment by showing such humility. The bangle breaking was the worse. Which woman gets her bangles broken while divorcing her husband?

Again, I was disappointed in the makers for this, I've criticised them for other instances too the same as I did for this.

Edited - you don't need to sympathize with Vividha to call a spade a spade. The molestation track was humiliating and not needed and so was what she went through in the name of 'divorce.'
