Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil is carrying incredible pre-release reports. From every screening of the film, the reports that are coming out - both within the industry and on social media websites - is excellent. We've spoken to many and almost all of them have had only good things to say about the film.

Now, pre-release reviews should never be trusted in the social media era, we've seen several films that were called classics prior to release, but turned out to be unwatchable for the audience in theatres. People who are invited for special screenings will never write it off, but the confidence of the Roshans can be sensed from the fact that they have shown the film to a variety of people.

In the first part of the campaign, the promos of the film hadn't really worked and internally not many had their hopes high on Kaabil doing well at the box office.

But the experience and brilliance of Rakesh Roshan has resulted in a turnaround at the right time for Kaabil'. The move to show exhibitors parts of the film was a masterstroke, it was to convince them that the film deserved a proper showcasing against a big film like Raees' which had incredible promos and a bigger star.

And now with less than 36 hours to go for the film's release, Kaabil' is gearing up to surprise at the box office this extended Republic Day weekend. While the other team is on a marketing blitzkrieg with Shah Rukh Khan's train journey from Mumbai to Delhi, team Kaabil which has had a low-key promotional campaign - is showing the film to different people to create the much needed pre-release positivity.

Check out some of the many reviews of Kaabil below, it's unanimous so far, but will the audience love the film as much as the people in the industry have? That's going to be the big question, as Kaabil hits theatres on 25th January.
Akshay Kumar: Just watched #Kaabil, @iHrithik's sincere effort is commendable,he's evidently given it his all. A sensitive film with captivating storyline

Naved Jafri: Just saw #Kaabil, congrats to the team,@iHrithik is superb and @_SanjayGupta has outdone himself, one word FANTASTIC. Must see
Kunal Kohli: @iHrithik what a performance. Just saw #Kaabil rarely does an actor go way beyond a superb script like you have. Wow wow & wow
Rahul Shetty: Just saw this masterpiece @iHrithik @yamigautam.. outdone yourself.. Coz mind sees it all and al your eyes should definitely see "KAABIL"
Neha Sharma: Kaabil..an edge of the seat thriller..pacy edgy sharp..love and revenge so beautifully amalgamated.. loved it Donno how u manage to do it every time..what an honest and endearing performance..the pain and pathos in those eyes blew my mind @iHrithik
Sulaiman Merchant: Just finished watching #Kaabil. Inspite of having done the score, watching it again gives you goosebumps
Kamaal R Khan: What a brilliant film #Kaabil! It's equally good for single screen n multiplex audience, therefore it will be a sure shot winner at boxoffice.

Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil performance will go down as his career best, here's why...

With Kaabil, Hrithik Roshan has surpassed his poetic performance in Guzaarish.

There are performances where an actor outdoes himself and then there are performances that have a lasting impression on you days after you have walked out of the theatre. Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil falls into both these categories. I watched Hrithik's Kaabil last night and came out of the theatre with utmost respect for his craft. Forget the clash, forget the trade experts and their numerical spins on how much these films are expected to make, forget any conspiracy theory you might have read about one being better than the other, because these things won't matter after you have watched Kaabil.

Hrithik like Aamir has been a perfectionist. Aamir's obsession with his craft is popular while Hrithik's love for his work hasn't been that public. But those who have worked or been around him will narrate tales of how he's all for that perfect shot and take. It doesn't matter what terrain, climate or odd hour he's working in, Hritik is all for let's go for another one.

With Kaabil he has surpassed his poetic performance in Guzaarish, which in my opinion was his most challenging. It isn't so much about playing a blind man that impresses you. He isn't the first visually impaired character we have seen on screen. But his understanding of the world without light, his honesty in even showing the greys without evoking any sense of sympathy or feeling sorry for him because he's blind is what wins your heart. Hrithiks character doesn't ask for your empathy, neither does he make you cry because of his challenges. In fact the scenes where you might reach out for a tissue are the ones that don't have Rohan holding a stick or combatting his visual challenge. The most emotional scenes in Kaabil are the moments of love between Hrithik and Yami Gautam.

Kaabil becomes Hrithik's best performance because he doesn't worry about the outer appearance and dives deep within to find the grace to play Rohan with utmost sincerity. Be it his opening scene where he's seen making breakfast or numerous times in the course of the film where he's seen struggling to even make his way from one place to another. He's outstanding and at the top of his game.

Kaabil will go down in the cinematic legacy as a performance to remember and reckon with. Take a bow Hrithik Roshan, you have just upped yourself at your own game! Kudos.

Honest Review Of Kaabil! It Is Winning Hearts & Critics Can't Stop Appreciating The Brilliance

When we talk of Hrithik Roshan, only one thing comes to mind i.e. subtle yet powerful performances. He had delivered his best performance in "Guzaarish" and after that, he is once again set to win hearts of the audience with his movie "Kaabil" which will hit the screens tomorrow; but critics and members of the industry have already watched the special screening of the movie and they all are going awww over it.

The plot revolves around Rohan, a dubbing artist and Supriya, a proficient pianist who fall in love with each other; you are going to love the way they have created a beautiful world filled with love, in spite of being blind. Kaabil will make you realize the fact that "Love is actually blind". The movie is all about "REVENGE", the specialty of Sanjay Gupta and Rakesh Roshan. There's not a single moment in the film which would leave you without emotions. Rohan and Supriya fall in love and tie the knot, but very soon she dies. Rohan who is completely shattered by this loss decides to take revenge. You'll fall flat over this avatar of Hrithik Roshan; the way he plans, the way he executes, everything will leave you thrilled.

Filled with versatile and heart-wrenching sequences, Kaabil is a perfect reflection of helplessness, grief, joy and low. Yami Gautam's performance has come as an absolute surprise to us; after watching the movie you will wonder as to why her talent wasn't utilized till now. These days makers concentrate only on romantic flicks, but this Sanjay Gupta movie which has a different theme altogether is a treat to watch.

Overall, we can say that it is Hrithik's excellent performance which will keep audience hooked throughout. Yami complements him really well with her super and subtle performance.

Talking about technicalities, the action, direction, sounds, lights etc are just so perfect. Photographer Sudeep Chatterjee has tried his hands at some different angles, which will give you anxious moments. No doubt, you will find some difference or lack of continuity in between, but seeing the overall perfection, you will surely ignore it.

We can say that Hrithik's performance as a lover and as a revenge taker is just so AWESOME! Considering everything, it would not be wrong to give the movie a 4.5 star rating.

Best thiller from BW. a blind couple gets lost in a mall... to i will finish the game...

Proud to be an HR fan. watching it again.

I am so glad to hear positive review for this movie.
Actually I went with my wife and son (7 years old) and right there he was denied to enter coz it's 16 plus rated movie and I thought it was PG. So, ihad to watch it alone so wifey can look after my son.

I cant post a detailed rvu coz it will have many spoilers. the things i like to mention is..

2 blind ppl fall in love and esp. the building and mall scenes win your hearts.

The rape scene in underplayed.. it's like a scene and blank.. again and again.. so it'd not a torture on public minds, it's more like you decide what that lady beeen through

And before you know it, the film gets into revenge saga.

And Hrithik is the leading man... He scores on every level of human emotions.

Watch it.

I am watching again with wifey... sorrry, son is not allowed. Coz the film does have some grusome violence.

Once again, I tried to judge a movie from it's trailer... wrong. The movie is amazing but it's a thriller so they can't reveal too much in trailer itself.

It's not why it's revenge saga, it's how the justice been done. HR's voice over plays a big part and yes, it's him, not somebody else.

Gowatch it and then ask yourself, ye movie aap ke paise ke Kabil hai ya nahi.😊

5/5.

Let me start with Hrithik. He is flawless from the word go. He has this vulnerable, innocent side which he depicts so beautifully through his heartwarming smile and voice and this makes Rohan Bhatnagar so believable and endearing. There isn't a single scene where you feel he is actually an actor who is acting blind. There is a scene just before the interval where he gives a monologue which is BRILLIANT👍🏼The part where Rohan takes revenge are parts which he does extremely well ! There is something key about the way he traps them and boy, his acting and facial expressions are too good ! When he emotes, his facial muscles and features are so expressive, yet he suceeds in keeping that blank stare that a blind guy has❤️There are parts where he cries and he is so damn good in them like wow. I can go on and on but you just have to see it. You will fall in love with him again<3 Yes, his best performance ever for me. Honestly, I am so happy with his work as a fan that box office collections do not even matter now. I will be upset if he doesn't sweep all awards this year. He IS Rohan Bhatnagar.

Yami is gorgeous and has stunned me !😲I think she can do wonders if she does not choose crap scripts like Junooniyat or Sanam Re. I loved her dialogue delivery, and her chemistry with Hrithik is so adorable, so sweet, so real. I hope they do more films together😳

Ronit Roy is perfect. Rohit Roy makes you loathe him so much you want to kill him and when that had happened, everyone had clapped in the hall😆Girish Kulkarni is very good and the other policeman Chaubey is excellent. Urvashi's item number seemed a bit out of place but it was fun to watch her dance. Everyone is brilliant in the supporting cast.

SANJAY GUPTA. Honestly the repelling factor was him but I was shocked to see such good direction ! Might be the FilmKraft effect but nevertheless the direction was really good !😳

Overall I loved the film and Hrithik steals the whole damn show.

REVIEW (MIGHT HAVE SPOILERS)

This is my first review in this forum, i usually do not write reviews but this film has been something so staggering and had me bewildered that i wanted to write about the film. The film itself is a slow paced and predictable but in an amazing manner. I remember being disappointed watching Ghajni, because some how the hero's yearn and tragedy could not come off as believable as it comes in this film, and it was surprising.
There is never a single moment where you do not feel the love of Rohan, he lives Supriya through his eyes which cannot see, and the USP of the film is that the traumatizing effect of Hrithik's performance, it rings a bell in your heart, its brutal to see him losing Supriya, it is heinous to watch a blind and innocent girl being raped and the filming was equally merciless, the half filled theater was in complete silence during that portion of the film.
There is a scene where Rohan and the police head is confronting each other, some of the lines of Rohan catches the strings of your heart, it practically injects your mind with the grief that his wife was blind, he is blind and that has become their biggest weakness.
The action of the film is very tricky and smart too, well justified for a blind person, yes for a very choosy viewer it can give the impression of being too easy on eyes, but the general audience will find it gripping because we are fed with so much of mindless action in our films that we have this mindset to believe that action ad revenge can be done with physical violence only.
The message of this film is outright beautiful, it is not just about loving your wife or avenging the villains, its about overcoming your handicap and taking a stand against the injustice, the film teaches you that blind people are efficient and smart in their own way, their external world is dark but they never find it as their weakness.

Music of the film is okay, it does not affect the film anyway, the dance song was very nice. The back ground score deserves all the awards, some fantastic piece of work here.

Among the actors, Hrithik Roshan is wondrous, he was born to be Rohan, there is no over doing of the heavy dialogues too, the moist and bend eyes, shaky and stoned cold voice leaves you rooting for Rohan. Yami is beautiful and acts with honesty, there is no over shadowing of each other, the chemistry works like magic here.

4/5- A great movie to start the year with, i don't know how much money will it make, but this will be a cult film, it will stay with you for a long time

It's thoroughly entertaining movie

Good music, production values and acting
It's slow in first half but i guess you need that buildup to get the feel of tragedy and get behind hrithik character.
One thing i didn't liked in trailer was they showed hrithik all going daredevil, which thankfully didn't happen , action and whole revenge plan was pretty grounded and believable coming from a blind guy.
Good to see hrithik didn't go over and kept the performance subtle and one more noticable thing was lack of loud scenes usually in bollywood one would had expected hrithik giving big dialogue scenes about revenge ,redemption etc.
Also yami should do more film like this and avoid doing movies like sanam re.

first of all i m not hrithik roshan acting fan nor his movies barring agnepath but kabil dnt bore
hrithik was best thing about movie great subtle intense acting by him better then koi mil gaya rohit forsure
ronit roy was terror as villian on par with hero hrithik his bro did well not a dul moment for me

Just finished. Need time to digest and don't want to give any spoilers. It had a few weaknesses no doubt but I really really liked it! Hrithik was as good as everyone else has said and I really really liked Yami (she is so beautiful and was so natural - surprised she is not receiving more praise). So much of the dialogue made me really think and wonder about any significance of him calling her character Su and his obvious peacemaking with Sussanne - I wish I could see the original script pre Roshan editing... Overall so happy to be a HR fan right this instant. Please please let him keep working at some reasonable pace - he is so good when he's good ❤️ !

Watched Kaabil tonight. Theater was around 60% full.

I was not expecting much from the movie because of Sanjay Gupta as a director. Not a big fan of his movies and his movies are copied from some or the other English movies.

To be frank i loved this movie. What happened to Yami in this movie just was unbearable. In other words..audience got involved in the movie from get go. The way Hrithik plots revenge is simply superb. loved it. Movie has Mumbai flavor so yeah big thumbs up from me.

Now i am not a big fan of Hrithik regarding his acting. He hams a lot IMO. But in this movie he was awesome. He nailed Rohan Bhatnagar character. Simply mind blowing. I have to say this is one of the best performance in recent times. This has to be Hrithik's best performance. The range of emotions he showed without going overboard was fantastic.

Yami and Roy brothers did their job pretty well. Loved Ronit Roy as a politician. The scene between Hrithik and Ronit after his wifes death was brilliantly enacted.

Only drawback was the songs. I thought it slowed the movie pace. I loved item song by Urvashi.

One loophole in the movie:
Why did Zafar not accompany Hrithik and Yami when they went to police station was surprising.

I would give this movie 8/10.
