We continue to dissect the heck out of the characters, situations, and the possibilities for the leap, without having to make individual posts for each idea. Since there isn't really a place on the forum to do this, a few other members and I thought of making a thread dedicated to in-depth character and story analysis in this new phase of the show. Let's explore how the show, in its complexity makes us think.

Everyone is invited to join as long as they avoid:

1. Moral policing. This thread should be an inclusive and safe space for people to express their views. This is a work of fiction and multiple interpretations only make it a richer experience. If something about the show makes you uncomfortable, be open to the idea that you might be missing the necessary perspective that someone else could provide.

2. Bashing CVs. Criticism is welcome, but should be focused and constructive.

3. Bashing the characters, or pitting them against one another. If you think either the Dixits or the Boses are entirely right, and the other entirely to blame, this is not the thread for you.

And most importantly...

4. BASHING OR PERSONAL INSULTS OF OTHER MEMBERS

This means we accept other people's viewpoints with respect, and don't call them names for not agreeing with us. Either we continue the argument calmly, supported by examples from the show, or we respectfully agree to disagree and leave that discussion alone.

I will leave the thread open-ended so that we can discuss varied topics with each other in a more informal way. If it works out well, maybe we can start one every Sunday evening to have ongoing discussions as the week unfolds. If you are interested in this exercise, jump right in!

I would like to start with my take on the precap - I loved the precap. Simply bcoz first time we are seeing uber cool Dev2.0 getting riled up n behaving like his earlier self. And this is happening the very first day Dr.Bose is back in town. Stop interfering in my life...😆 when he was the one who purposely went to the award function to see her/instigate her.

If Sona was alone, maybe she wud hv handled Dev on her own. But Soha's presence makes the difference n she takes a logical step of calling hotel security. She doesn't want Soha to get disturbed. Dev has anyway shown her that he doesn't care about his reputation anymore n hence it really becomes difficult to fight with such a person when you yourself are concerned about your reputation as Sona is still connected to her family.

Moreover such incidents are crucial as they would only make Sona keep on hiding Soha from Dev and Dixits.

P.S. notice that Sona always sends the maid away when she has to do personal talk with Soha..she did it twice. Is Sona aware abt Bijoy's spying n trying to reduce his interference. Maybe subtle hint that this time Sona wud make her own decisions..she wud take inputs from Asha n Bijoy but wouldn't follow them blindly.

I think finally both leads are taking decisions on their own. Dev has already cut off from ish & last 2 episodes we saw sona trying to make sure she make her own mind & not letting bijoy influence her.

Will the arrest make things worse between them or will it be the discovery of soha? The serial which was supposed to make me smile at the end is now giving me a headache.

I think Soha Dev meet would be accidental..they wud meet few times, become friends n then later only Dev wud get to know Soha us his own daughter.

The arrest wud definitely agitate Dev to trouble Sona n her business. Now that he has closed his business n since he is the secret investor in her business, he might try to become majority shareholder and try to get involved in Sona's company n Sona wud not be able to stop him. This wud give them ample of interactions as story requires them to interact regularly.

Love Sona's new look. The hairstyle really suits her. Also love the fact that she is a successful business woman on par with Dev. That's one twist I've always wanted to see in Ekta serials but never really seen.

Love that Dev is choosing to live life on his terms. I actually love his attitude now. Dev was always such a people pleaser that its refreshing to see him not be so personally bogged down by everyone else's happiness. Its also good to see that he still has a handle on the business.

Bijoy somewhere does not trust , now when Sonakshi and Suhana had left for Delhi he told them his trust is on them and they should not break it

it means somewhere he is very scared if Dev and Sona start talking it almost seems as if he is trying hard to keep Dev away from Soha especially

he phoning Guni and wanting updates on Sonakshi its not because he cares about his daughter he cares about his ego that his daughter should not have contact with Dev .

now Sonakshi yes has send Guni out whenever her talks become personal

which means she is also aware her father has been pulling her strings too

Bijoy may not be Ishwari but he too has been dictating to Sona its only because of Asha that Bijoy is a bit grounded otherwise he too will do the exact that Ishwari does .

but it seems now that Sonakshi will make her own final decisions
