He swept into our lives and millions of Indian TV screens on 18th June 2012, with the Rajshri Show "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
His portrayal of Aditya, the male protagonist confused between modernity and tradition, and learning the ways of true love, inducted him into every household, winning him fans not only in India but the myriad countries where the show aired.
The show was a massive hit and became a flagship show for the channel, with people tuning in at 10 pm sharp like an arrow.
He also showed his versatility by producing a satirical take on Indian TV, called "I don't watch TV, as well as hosting a reality show on Colors called "India's Got Talent.

As succinct as that is, we believe that he has graced us with many shades of his personality.
His friendly demeanour, sparkling wit and intelligent interactions with fans makes him one of the most affable and multi-faceted personalities from Indian Television.
A trained dancer, he lends his grace to all his performances, be it ballroom dancing, jazz, folk, hip hop, salsa or contemporary.
And he showed another facet of his personality as an actor with his portrayal of Shivaay Singh Oberoi in Star's new hit show, "Ishqbaaaz. Taking up the challenge of portraying a character who is radically different from his first show, he showcases Shivaay Singh Oberoi with elan- a man of bratty arrogance, preoccupied with power and affluence- yet with an underlying emotional vulnerability. Be it Shivaay the brother, Shivaay the son, Shivaay the lover- he has been a maverick in delineating them all!
So let's cheer to our birthday boy Nakuul Mehta on his 34th birthday today, on the 17th of January, and wish him truckloads of best wishes, for his good health and choicest of spirits!
