Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan's divorce came as a shocker for everyone. The couple had announced their decision to part ways in the beginning of the year. However, it was just last month that they officially filed for divorce.

Now, we hear that Malaika has demanded 10 Crores from Arbaaz in the form of alimony and he without negotiating on it has readily agreed to pay her the sum.

However, it's still not decided as to who will get the custody of their son Arhaan.

I don't understand why Arbaaz needs to pay alimony to Malaika (or HR to Suzan) because here the woman is not bechari like abandoned by her husband or something and the husband has ruined her life. Is it just because Arbaaz is a man and Malaika is a woman ? She is rich enough and capable of earning.
