Kareena: Role of a lifetime

Director Vishal Bharadwaj is to remake Shakespeare's Othello. Ajay Devgan is to play Othello. And the role of Desdemona will be played by none other than Kareena Kapoor. Commenting on the news, Kareena said, "Yes, Vishal Bharadwaj has approached me for the role. I have still not read the story. We are yet to have a script session." She adds, "Desdemona is perhaps the most challenging role for an actress." This is for the first time that Kareena will act in a film adapted from literature. Besides this, Kareena is looking forward to shooting Farhan Akhtar's Don with Shahrukh Khan. There is also Mr Mehta & Mrs Singh with Aamir Khan. "I am really happy with the offers that I am getting," she says.
