Though Vandana is a nice lady, she cannot be a 100% substitute as a mother for Arjun and it is not easy for him to accept him as his mother. I'mtelling this out of my personal experience. I too have lost my mother & I know that pain. If my dad had decided to remarry, he would definitely inform me and my siblings about it but Arjun's dad has not informed him about it no matter how much ever small he was. So he is also responsible for that.

When Arjun confides in Maya, she tells him in such a way that it won't be difficult for him to accept it. She too told him to face the reality and accept the situation as it is whereas Saanjh tells him the same thing giving him big and fat lectures. Vandana has no right to force her decisions on Arjun. He had brought that dress for Maya but if Ayan and Vandana assume that it is for Saanjh, what can Arjun do? I know that Sanjh fans will argue that Arjun didn't tell anyone that he has brought the dress for Maya or even taking her to shanti spot but has the family has even given him the right to express his views?

It is not that Arjun is secretive or wants to hurt Saanjh or his family but he hides it from them to avoid the complications.

No one putting any of the characters down. They are only commenting based on what they see and feel about the characters.

All i said is today he is grown matured human

He is well exposed to the world and he lived with that women under the same roof for years ...He knows her in and out ...he is suppose to use his brains and listen to his heart ...but I guess his ego comes and doesn't want to admit he is wrong or that incident made him so full of himself that he can't see through people ...he is going to realise it when he is going to enter Maya s world and that's when his perceptions .So I feel arjun s perceptions aren't going to change by anyone so point blaming the characters.He is going witness some trouble in life that's when his perceptions will change.

Coming to vandana forcing her desicion
She hasn't ever forced him
Her process was to make him realise and also tell him making new relationships no need to hurt earlier ones.Many a Times he does hurt saanjh because in that situation he can't hurt Maya .He does take saanjh feelings for granted ..It wasn't about the dress but the tears pushed her to speak.
Coming to her wanting Saajun together ,

its not just best friends, these two take it a level up , its a very strong co-dependant relationship , symbiotic at its best and parasitic at its absolute worst which I think we will soon find out ... Or as AnS like to say ,

Saanjh to her is not the girl who is her sons best friend but a lot more she's a life line ... And what the need of looking for another option (maya) when you have a proven and tested method ...
