I did!! It was okay!! There's too much unnecessary comedy and Faltu time pass by the judges. Didn't like it because of that. And Farah Khan looked so out of place. The Voice India is so much better.

I tried watching but they kept showing someone's personal life(that guy who sings at local functions or something), that I changed the channel and totally forgot about Indian Idol...

oh no! I missed it.. I forgot about it.. before showing him they showed some girls strutting and all .. they seem to waste lotsa time.

Aren't they showing all the auditions btw? direct top 24 in episode 1?

He was so good...judges gave him entry to top 24 in auditions itself

I did. The guy with no hands was truly inspirational. He has such beautiful hand writing. I liked what he said in the end - Jhukta wahi hai jisme jaan hoti hai... Akad hi toh murde ki pehchan hoti hai!
