So what I love about the PriVeer dynamic and something I think you captured really beautifully in this, especially right at the end with him wiping away her tears, is that Ranveer is by nature and by profession a protector. He's the hero of his own story and in his mind, the Oberois are evil and Priyanka is supposed to be a cunning and deceitful vampy vixen.
Only... she isn't.She's a gentle, kind and innocent young woman. Fragile both physically and apparently emotionally and that speaks to the inherent protector within him. It draws him to her in a way I don't think he can really make sense of because she's nothing like what he expected her to be.In the same way, he sees Priyanka. He has made her his target and he's made her the main character in the Oberoi play which is fantastic and forces a girl whose own family allows her to fade into the wallpaper to have to come forth and defend herself and speak out and fight back. Priyanka probably saw him as yet another man who would protect and forget about her- but that's not what he does and I love that you made him make her talk and that he deliberately makes her uncomfortable to push her out of her comfort zone. In part maybe it's because he's trying to get her to expose herself and reveal that she really is the evil vamp he thought she would be simply wearing the mask of an innocent fairy... but maybe, just maybe, it's because he's fascinated by a woman he can't help but want to protect while at the same time being dazzled by the flashes of strength she shows when she pushes back and refuses to be cowed by him.GDI you're a wonderful writer and so you've made my brain go off on an irrelevant tangent. 😆This was a pleasure to read! TEAM PRIVEER ALL THE WAY.
