First of all dear getting called a feminist is something I would feel proud about. That means you believe in equality of all the sexes. The word has fem of female in it bcoz women have been the one on the lesser weighing end of this equality scale, nothing else in it says that you have to always support women even if they are being wrong.
Now have you ever been terribly hurt when you were nothing but nice to ppl. You sure were. We all have been there. Sometimes when terrible things happen to us we tend to believe the whole world is bad. We lose all hope in goodness of the world. Some people become cynical & some people become depress.
Anika here is talking to a 6 year old boy, who might think that the whole world is bad bcoz someone who he thought was a annoying did something terrible to the only person that matter to him.
Anika here is not justifying Shivaay. She is just telling Sahil that even though Shivaay has been a bad person, not everyone will be like him. Most of the time they are just ignorant & just sometimes they are in terrible circumstances.
Telling this to her little brother is important to her not bcoz she wants him to think good of Shivaay but bcoz she wants him to not lose faith in his goodness & the goodness of the world.
You might think that I am justifying Shivaay. No I am not. I have met terrible people in my life ( not as much as SSO ofcourse), I have lost my hope in goodness of people. And I have later met good people again who made me belief that not all are like those bad people.
I think Anika is just trying to protect Sahil's beliefs. She here is not justifying SSO.

Ok, first of all I didn't know people do that.M y bad.Well they should go & search Feminist on Google first then. I pity them if they are women & think so even then.Originally posted by: angel_juhi04
It's dat whoever speaks against Shivaay is called a feminist n told to do social service in a mocking way. No I did not found u justifying Shivaay. I am not dat much dumb to misunderstand u. But Anika told him clearly dat indian gala nahi haallaat gala the n then O Jaana music played on Anika n Shivaay. So it have d wrong impression dat Anika is justifying Shivaay's deeds to Sahil. She sudhave said sumthn like not all people r bad like Shivaay if Sahil thinks there is no goodness in people or said sumthn like not to dirty his hands n crutch by hitting a dirt like Shivaay. She cud have given him right information widout whitewashing Shivaay.

I said that just to be on the safer side. You know I don't want u to think that I wanna start a fight or something.
See that's what they are doing wrong here. Not every scene where they are standing together needs 'O jaana' in the background. Even when he was forcing her for marriage, they played it. I think they don't get how music sets the mood.
About Whitewashing SSO, children are impressionable & yet wise. They sense what's right & what's wrong. I feel that she wants that hating Shivaay shouldn't be a large part of Sahil's existence. May be that's why she didn't. But I feel we should wait. May be they have scene talking about it tomorrow!
