If we are talking about actors, Maya is doing a better job. Her emotions are perfect and so is her dialogue delivery. Saanjh is quite immature, a bit overacting, irritating here and there. I know she is young and has lesser experience than her co-stars but this is HER acting and people are going to judge. Honestly, she has a meaty role and she could really do a better job but because she is not and maya is, people are loving maya more than her.

Now, coming to characters, the one who is doing a better job is going to be praised and we cant help it. Remember, joker from batman, dexter from dexter, I can name a few more if you want. They all justified their characters and hence got the applauds they deserved. I am sorry, if you feel we are all against Saanjh but she is currently not the most strong character or the favorite actor. If this makes you feel better, people are comparing maya and saanjh and arjun is nowhere to be seen. This proves that Saanjh is doing a better job than Arjun at least. It all depends on writers and how they want to proceed with her character. At the end, it all comes back to the actor, if Saanjh improves a bit more, maybe people will start noticing her more.

Coming back to storyline, maya is doing what she thinks is good for her life. If Arjun doesnt want her, he can jump off the boat and go back to Saanjh for all I care. All I need to see is how Maya is going to make him stop jumping off the boat. This could turn dangerous but isnt this what this show is about. We are not justifying maya's actions, we love her character. Even if she turns out to be a psychopath, I would love to see how she portrays that part. With all respect to Saanjh's hard work, maya is nailing it.
