New montage: Khushi & Abeer.
15 years later, Khushi is at a temple praying to Bappa & reminiscing about Survi. Kartik on the other hand distributes laddoos as he is going to get a promotion at work. A man asks his worker to break coconuts on steps. The man was warned that others might get hurt but continues. Kartik is struck on the head by a coconut & this causes Khushi to confront the man. The man pushes Khushi making Kartik angry who attacks him. The man who was accompanying the man who hit Kartik comes & threatens KarShi. However Survi shuts him up by her smartness.
At home, Khushi scolds Kartik. Kartik talks to Survi's picture complaining that she left him with a Khadoos 😆. KarShi argue because of this & Kartik teases her that everyone in chawl is afraid of her & no one will marry her if she keeps up this cold attitude. Both then leave for their work after finishing their arguing.
KarShi reaches the cafe where Kartik works & his happy that he's about to get a promotion. Kartik is loved by every other worker. The new manager turns out to be the man they met at the temple. He threatens KarShi to get out or he'll call police but Khushi is unmoved. The other workers start to leave as well but the owner comes & promotes Kartik to a supervisor & throws the manager out. After getting to know what had happened, the owner tells Kartik to take an off for the day. KarShi leave.
Outside, Khushi helps someone pick their fallen veggies whereas Kartik keeps walking. Kartik is hit by Abeer's car & a worried Khushi rushes to his aid. She calls out to the driver but instead of coming out, Abeer simply throws a bundle of cash out from the window.
Precap: Khushi reaches a party and asks about Abeer. Abeer makes an entry & pulls her to him.
Man I was so missing Harbandana-Ankush as KarShi!!
Khushi has grown up to be more like Kartik with hints of Survi. She was ready to fight anyone & seemed pretty confident just like her father (Also, she's a khadoos like her father). I'm kinda liking Khushi's character.. I was hoping she won't be shy types & she wasn't! But her look kinda makes her look older. I mean before the leap when we saw Sonal she was looking much younger as Survi. Maybe the look is to match her kinda Khadoos personality.
Kartik is still somewhat same. He's super protective & got angry when his daughter gets hurt & beats up the person senseless.
Kartik teasing Khushi about being Khadoos & her marriage kinda reminded me of Choti Survi-Kartik days.. (Man I miss those ones!). Kartik talking to Survi's picture was a nice scene too.
I was really missing Ankush!! Krishna Sir did a fairy good job but since we are so used to Ankush, I really missed him.
